Incredibly, we are already once again at the peak-of-the-week and psyched for another visit to the 'Pines to see what Carl has whipped up.
Well, to leak the secret out, the Pines' friendly activities director says he has discovered extra red frosting left over from Valentine's day in the back of the refrigerator so all the fired twinkies today will be red-frosted -- but just as delicious, of course!

Allright. We shall see each and every one of you who can come at the 'Pines today for a heapin' helpin' of sweet southern iced tea, red fired twinkes, Carl and lots of Christmas fellowship.

Please, Sir, may I have some more?

Good morning all! Have a couple hours to kill before I go to my yearly physical exam at 8 am. I asked for the earliest appt time like usual because I like to get these things out of the way first thing,not the kind of thing for me I like to dwell on all morning or afternoon. and believe me I tend to dwell! not that I try too,but Dr's offices are nerve racking to me. hours you sit,wait,sit wait. Anyhow,then it's off to work I should be home by 315 or so ...but who's counting right? have a great morning everyone!

I tend to suffer from the "white coat syndrome" myself, I cannot stand going to the doctor and tend to stress myself out.

What an icky day here, it is cold and rainy, and I work my late shift today. We gave JP his b-day gift last night so I could be here to see him open it, we gave him a new game for his Nintendo DS, so he was thrilled, he is probably going to be very interested in computers as he grows up, since he is so good at using the game system, and our laptop when he is on it. Tonight his grandparents and uncle come over and they are having fried chicken for dinner, (one of his favorites) Wish me luck, I bought a lottery ticket for tonight on a whim, its JP's b-day and the number 13 has been involved in such strange occurrences in my life I thought what the hay. If it comes to fruition my Christmas store will be up and running for Christmas this year. cheesy

Good morning, Christmas friends. It is gray, gray, gray and chilly here in northern California. Needless to say, rain is expected. We have a minimum day today for teacher collaboration. After that, I am going back to the doctor to see why my arm still hurts. Hope everyone has a great day.

I must be VERY TIRED! My grandson saw some candy sprinkles (for cookies) we had left from Christmas and he asked if he could put them on his yogurt. I said ok, then I took the sprinkles and put them all over my salad!!! He looked at me like I was crazy then we both started laughing.

The salad got a good rinsing before I could eat it. Who knows, I might have invented a new salad recipe.

Good Wednesday afternoon, my Christmas friends!

Tax season is almost behind us! My wife is an accountant in her sister's CPA firm, and I am sick & tired of hearing about tax season. "I don't have time for that! Don't you know it's TAX SEASON?!" "We can't go to a matinee! Don't you know it's TAX SEASON?!" Grrrr. That mostly comes from my sister-in-law, though. She's a workaholic, and expects everyone else to be, too. I told her a while back that, while I do understand that it's tax season, the rest of us have to work hard ALL YEAR LONG, not just 3 1/2 months. It didn't go over too well. :lol:

It's beautiful weather here in south GA today, sunny 80° and breezy.

I take melatonin too.

My niece takes it too. She has restless leg syndrome and is to young for the medicine. So my sister gives it to her to help her sleep.
