Made - I went to a few different QVC sellers' sites last night (Temp-Tations, Jim Shore, etc) trying to find info about Xmas in July but nada! I think Temp-Tations had July 24 listed... I am Googling to see if I can find out more!![]()
Going to London with a friend to do some shopping. Well, she is shopping, I am just going along to keep her company.
How very sweet of you! Let CM3 have first choice and let her pick out 3 books. She is the true collector and my mom can have 1. cheesyChristmas in May!!!
We just finished dinner, and it was fantastic! We smoked a prime rib roast at Christmas and froze the leftovers. Tonight we had steak sandwiches with the leftovers. It was fantabulous!! We made corn on the cob and Madras beans to go with it in addition to au jus. Oh man, I was in heaven!!! I can hardly wait for the real Christmas! I hope everyone has a great evening. CM3 and CAH I have four books of paper dolls: Wedding Fashion, Bride and Groom, Brides From Around the World, and Fashions of the First Ladies. I was thinking the first two for CM3 and the last two for CAH;s mom. Is that okay? I will need addresses that you can PM me.
This is all absolutely true. I keep expecting him to walk up and drop the tennis ball. He was too old to run for it anymore, but he'd walk for it, tail wagging all the way. If I didn't have a chance to throw it, he was content to just walk along beside me.Hey brad --
That experience taught me that value of grieving and of remembering and not only for the people important in our lives. Our pets are FAMILY, they are monumental in our day to day, even if they cannot talk or express themselves as we express ourselves to each other.
They do speak to us. And they give a level of love I wish more of us had the capacity to give.
God bless you and your family, Brad, and the memory, too, of Ben.

Sounds great, Crown! Tell Carl I'll be there!Carl has been touched by the pet stories that have appeared here lately so he's running a pet theme at the 'Pines today.
Lots of stuffed animals about with photos of members' pets and printed stories.
(Sounds like it will be a touching day you won't want to miss.)
Oh. And just in case you still want to come for more experimental coffee, Carl was muttering something earlier about guacamole.
Lordy!
Great now I am thinking about turkey again. cheesy
Hey brad --
I was glad to hear you had a service and buried Ben in the yard. We've always done this too. Your telling of that story reminded me of the first time I went through the loss of a pet when I was a kid ...
Morning all
Good morning!
Have a great day!!!!!!!!!!!
...We went from frost less than a week ago to MUGGY today – 90% humidity & 83º today! What the heck?? O-H-I-O!Make a great day!
I just read our town's newspaper. We are such a small town that the paper is only published three times a week. One of the lead stories was about the lightning and thunder storm!!! I laughed out loud!
