Wow! I can't believe it. Did they have a reason for sending out an expired coupon? Sheesh!

No! infact I even had the envelope in my car and I ran out and got it to show them it was just postmarked and not lying to them..then after all of that they said thier register would not take it...I explained to them I have worked on about every make and model cash register there is and on everyone of them there was a way to give a discount and there is no way you can convince me otherwise you may have to cut corners,go outside procedure that is why a supervisor is there to give the ok. then they acted like if they just reduced the price without mashing the coupon key it would all but blow up the store!When I first joined the service I worked weekends at a shoe store,a men's suit shop,and even a freakin Big and tall shop,and in every single one of them there was a way to give a discount.I felt like screaming***ever heard of a *$@&*in price overrride key**** Just thinking about it makes me angry,but that's okay if I have to plot,plan, and write to the president or ceo,they will give my little discount!!!

Is it really the end of the weekend? I swear I feel more exhausted now than I did going into the weekend..I am just was sitting here thinking I have 2.5 weeks until I leave for my deployment..I am not worried as in what would happen to me,I mean even when I went to Iraq and Afganistan 2x's I was never worried about getting shot,blown up..I worry about the position I always seem to leave my loved ones in while I am gone. Of course they say it's nothing that I should worry about,but come on I really would not expect them to say me leaving is putting them in bind or making them worry about me. So I just hope I can hang on until June 2013 I will retire God willing. Wait the world is allegedly going to end december 21st of 2012! that is so my luck! anyhow that is what is on my mind tonight. I know I will be okay. I just hope my loved ones don't worry themselves about me! Okay I hope everyone has a great night,I am turning in early tonight I have to be up at 5 am...goodnight all talk to you all tomorrow!

I'd like to second what Seawaters has said( excuse me for being mushy for a moment)...when I first joined this website back in Sept. I looked at the number of posters here and I thought I would never get to know all of you and I would only read the posts and being shy myself I would only post here and there. However especially when I peeked in on this thread jan 1st I have to say I was a little intimidated about posting,but within days I felt completly at home and I feel like today we are a circle of friends of about 10 to 20 ppl...and it feels like we visit everyday in my living room..I value what each and every one of you have to say and I look to some of you for advice,some for Camaraderie,some for comic relief. It's like I have a special friend to fit whatever mood I am in. when I found out i was getting deployed yall rallied behind me,which made me realize I am going to miss you all so much this summer! But I just wanted to say thank you all for the kind words you gave for my engagement and also the baby coming in January! and for the things yall do every single day! I still can't believe I have 7500 posts! I would never have thought that,because I am laid back quiet guy! you guys are the greatest and would be welcome in my home anytime!

Good evening!

There is water in the basement and the furnace just kicked on - hard to believe it is the middle of May! This cold and rainy weather had the mother cat moving the kittens all over the place and we lost one of them

Since the basement was flooding, I didn't get my movie watched yet, but I did finish my book and make the potato soup. The book was so-so and the soup was yummy! Good thing as I made a huge pot full - it will be lunch and dinner for the next few days - less dishes that way cheesy

I was so sick with both times I was pregnant. It was day and night too! Ugh!!! I will say a prayer for her to get through this quickly and feel better!

Rainy day today... perfect for halfway to the season!!! And it's a rainy week this week (I like the rain!) so I can pretend it's winter and crank up the Christmas tunes all week!!

My mom went through the hallmark ornament catalog this morning and made a list of all of the ornaments she wants. Then she added up the prices and realized she better start working some overtime.

I agree! They have some cute stuff but pricey.

Before I actually do get to work in the kitchen, I would like to say thank you to all of you who chimed in on GBD's engagement. I love what you all said about it being one of the best things that happened to you and ditto for the birth of your children. I see so many kids at school who do not have parents with your wonderful attitude. I wish you all were parents in my school district! Thank you, again, for being who you are.

You are very sweet! I wish you could have been one of my kids teacher.

WOW! You guys have been busy today.

We went to church this morning, then I had to work. When I got home, Wayne and I fired up the grill and had ourselves a cookout. Hamburgers for him and veggie burgers for me. It was yummy!

All this talk of feeling Christmasy has me wanting to watch a Christmas movie tonight!
