Good evening, Christmas family.

I want to thank all of you for your comfort and friendship and prayers about me and my Wishbone. I spoke with the vet today and he confirmed my suspicions that if this is indeed a brain tumor (it has not been officially diagnosed nor will it ever be) that Wish has only months to be with me. At first this made me so sad but even though the doctor is probably right, I just don't feel like this is what he thinks it is. Perhaps I am in denial but it feels like more of a gut feeling.

Anyway, Wish is fine today and he has been taking advantage of more "mommy hugs" than he usually gets.

I know I said yesterday that not even Christmas could cheer me. Then I was looking at pictures of Christmas trees all decorated and shining and the Christmas in my soul came out - I was smiling again before I knew it.

I love going to thrift stores. I have bought some nice Christmas things at a few around here. You got a great price on that!

I love going to them, too! I found a Hallmark Santa bell ornament in the box the other day and about 15 pounds of fancy yarns cheesy

Just got out before theheat gets to be too much. Jude insisted we put the air on when we got home and is now sitting in front of the downstairs window unit, cuddled on a chair, covered with blankets.. a boy after my own heart, lol!

We don't even use a fan in our house - cement block lower floor and in the woods so it takes a long time for the heat to build up inside. If I close the windows and the blinds so the sun doesn't come in, it stays cool.

Not much planned for the day, maybe some laundry (oooo exciting!)

I love doing laundry - you are so lucky you don't have to go the laundromat!

My cold is not better, but I still have to get lots of things done: field trip tomorrow.

I hope this finds you better!!!

Wish me luck I get the feeling its going to be a long night...

YAY - I'm now a Platinum member! Even though I should be doing a million other things - I still found time to finally work out how to apply for full membership.

This is a picture of my granddaughter taken last year. She was so amazed with my animated Santa. She saw this Santa Clause sitting in our spare bedroom last week and keeps asking for him. She calls him, "Senta Cause". I have brought him back out and she hands him toys, talks to him and hugs him. She just loves Senta Cause!

Well, I finished up with work a few minutes ago and it is a good thing, too, as the sky is cloudy and we are now under a severe storm watch. Although there is nothing showing in the area on radar, I am trusting the uneasiness of the fur kids and expect to see a storm rolling in soon. I got a lot done today. While I waited for PDF files to download for my data entry job, I cleaned house. I realized today that there are times when it is nice to still live in an area where high speed internet is a dream cheesy

Good afternoon, everyone. It is still windy, and we had a few raindrops today. The principal had to come in and take over my classroom today for me to go to a meeting. While she was there, she had to send one of my kids down to her office because of his behavior. Wow!!! Imagine that. Hopefully now she will believe me that I have lots of problems behavior-wise!!! (She was in there less that 30 minutes.) I hope y'all have a great afternoon. I will try to get on later.

I am going to bed, even though there is no AC up there. The approaching storm has cooled the air a bit and I put the fan on full blast in the window so hoping it is not to bad tonight. AC's on sale at Walmart for only $88 so may go and pick one up for the bedroom.

Another warm night for sleeping, got my trusty old fan blowing though. The boys were nuts tonight, kicking and punching each other, such a relief some nights when they go to bed, even though LC has already woken up with a nightmare once tonight. Back to work tomorrow, 3 days off was great just didn't seem like enough though, but does it ever?

good morning party people. kandice woke up to a little tummy pain and a slight fever....I dont know what it is or was....but she seems to be back to normal again....weird.....maybe she was growing tonight....sometimes they get a lil fever from it.

at 10am i will call my former employer....i might be able to start working there again....not the same position...but a job is a job eh?

Happy 1st June christmas chums!!!

Can you believe how fast the months are flying by! we'll be putting up our decs before we know it!!!

My kids are on a weeks break from school this week, we have been swimming and to the park and taking the dogs out. We are getting 2 new pets this week, 2 baby bunny rabbits! We are really excited, my eldest 2 daughters cant wait, its their jobs to help me look after them and clean the hutch out etc...

Going to make a coffee and browse the forums!
