Good afternoon, Christmas family

Yesterday was my "hump day" (too bad it isn't today - it would fit more with Carl !!) and I can't tell you how I am looking forward to the weekend. I am super tired this week. As I write Wishbone is curled up on my legs sleeping. Isn't there a commercial that ends with "Priceless.." ?? That is what having him there is to me. We are supposed to go to a graduation party on Saturday and also probably to the grocery store. I want to go and get out, but I am afraid to leave Wish. I guess it's that "furmommy" instinct....If he continues to do well the rest of this week I might go...Not sure though.

I'll be at the 'Pines later if my tummy starts behaving ... sick in bed yesterday, but dragged myself in to work today.

I bet Carl can make you up some chicken soup to settle your tummy!

Daughter turns 15 on Sunday....asked if I could promise her it wouldn't rain.

Pretty rare birthday request....

I am sitting here and just realized I am Christmas multi-tasking I have MCR on in the background, watching A Hollywood Christmas on TV, and I am here on MMC. Don't ask me why I have music and TV on at the same time because I don't even know why. I guess that is a good way to spend June 1.

I won't ask you why because I do the same exact thing when it comes to Christmas!

I've been making some Christmas playlists today... is that a good thing?

Tough day at work, then tutoring, then pick up the kids, dinner, baths and bed.

Now I'm writing an assignment on contemporary Islamic approaches to female dress codes with particular reference to why a significant number of Muslim women wear veils today.

Theres no doubt that i'll be up till silly o'clock so if anyone has any view points I'd love to hear them.

Just going to log into MMC radio as its guaranteed to make me smile cheesy

decided to not watch North and South, but the Walton s second season....right now it is a Thanks Giving episode.....not as good as a christmas ep....but almost as good

my goodness...may god protect all You guys living in those tornado and hurricane areas....I dont think I would be able to live like that....being afraid of being hit by one of these horrible things every year

Only thunder here so far, but we're under a tornado warning until 6:30 p.m. The tornado activity in Springfield is far west of here. I had the Weather Channel on, and the Emergency Warning System broadcast over it, so I went to the basement. I've never been around tornadoes, and I don't want to start now! Wish I had a TV down here so I could see the Weather Channel and know exactly where things are happening. I can't get the video stream right now on my netbook.

I LOVE scanners (I used to listen to them as a kid!) and I've been listening to the Hampden one... another tornado is on it's way! Ahhhh... those poor folks!

We have a lot of good friends in MA - makes me nervous!
