And with this post, Made is poster #11,500. What a landmark this early in the year. For his efforts, he wins (Wait for it): my ticket stub from Grossology!!!

54 Days until Christmas in July!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
60 Days until the Brickyard 400!!!!!!!!
152 Days until Halloween!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
176 Days until Thanksgiving!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does this happen often??????????

In Massachusetts, very seldom. I understand there was a bad tornado in Worcester in the 1950s.

We're down to a severe thunderstorm warning and a tornado watch for now. The governor has declared a state of emergency for the whole state. I'll feel better when Mr. gets home.

Ooh, I hope he gets home soon Merry!

Is Worcester near Springfield? And Clinton? Is that near Springfield? We have friends there (and Boston)... so scary!
Be safe!

Mr. got home around 8:30ish; didn't even know about the tornado activity around. We got a heckuva thunderstorm about half an hour ago, so we switched off the TV and air conditioners and waited it out in the basement listening to some OTR on a battery-powered CD player. We're down to some lightning, rumbles, and rain now. Hope the worst is over, although the tornado watch goes until 11 p.m.

Worcester is quite a ways east of Springfield; Clinton looks to be a little northeast of Worcester. So they weren't in the thick of it, so far as I know.

Sounds like you have such a fun day planned! I couldn't help but smile! Just make sure you get some rest and get rid of that headache. Feel better!

Thank you! It was a very fun day cheesy

Oh...just wanted to share that I found out my grandchild who is due in October is a GIRL! That will make 2 granddaughters! Everyone is soooooo excited! Another little one to share my love of Chritmas with!

Congratulations, ChristmasHeart!!

I'll be at the 'Pines later if my tummy starts behaving ... sick in bed yesterday, but dragged myself in to work today.

I hope this finds you better, Merry!!

I am sitting here and just realized I am Christmas multi-tasking I have MCR on in the background, watching A Hollywood Christmas on TV, and I am here on MMC.

What a great way to spend the day!

I've been making some Christmas playlists today... is that a good thing?

That is a very good thing - most excellent, in fact cheesy

decided to not watch North and South, but the Walton s second season....right now it is a Thanks Giving episode.....not as good as a christmas ep....but almost as good

I love the Walton!

watching the walton s and especially the sequences when john boy is writin his journal...always makes me want to sit down and write myself....then five minutes later....the inspiration is gone

Good evening!

I hope everyone had a great day! The weather was beautiful here today - yesterday there was a tornado that touched down a county over - it hit in a rural area. Not sure how much damage was done, but I could hear the storm at my place and the sky overhead was somewhat greenish - that always scares me.

I put in a lot of hours this evening and am so tired - I just might be able to fall asleep right away.

Good night and pleasant dreams!!!!!!

:treeguy: HOLY MOLY!!! It has been a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng time since I logged on here!!! & man has tons of stuff happened! Finally moved outta my parents house, now living with my lovely boyfriendcheesy. In line for a promotion to become assistant manager at work.. and the biggest thing of all.. LEARNT HOW TO COOK! Never in a million years did I ever think I'd hear myself say I can cook...ever.

Hope everyone is doing great... now, time for me to read through 100+ pages of this thread:snowball:hahaha

Sounds like my last 7 months, minus the learning to cook part! I'm hoping to accomplish that by the end of this year! Congrats on everything and welcome back!

Thank you to everyone for the prayers and good thoughts. My dad is already home (two days earlier than they thought!)...in fact, he was eating solid food last night, which they thought he wouldn't be able to do until today. It was amazing to see, so I am feeling much better about everything. Unfortunately, I probably won't be able to see him for a while since my next few days are crazy busy, but I plan to call and bug him every day.

Again, thanks to all of you for thinking about him (and me and my family, plus the doctors). I really appreciate it.

Wow what a crazy night at the Pines!!!!! That camel sure knows how to have a good time. We did take a few minutes to pray for the safety of our friends up in the New England area as we watched the weather channel. Now I need to get to bed but I don't know if I will be able to sleep after all of that coffee and fired twinkies. Goodnight Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!

for me the christmas season starts in the uk on november 1st when bliss tv starts showing the christmas music videos! I can not wait!

CHRISTMAS A HOLIC --QUOTEWe sell rabbits at our job. Just word of warning but sometimes putting 2 rabbits together can be trouble. As they grow older they become very territorial and start to fight. We have warned customers of this and they buy 2 anyway. A couple of months later they end up bringing one back or buy another cage to separate them. I have no idea if you already had this planned but just thought I would pass that info along. On rare occasions they get along ok so it might just work. Have fun and enjoy your bunnies QUOTE

Thanks for the advice, ill keep a close eye on them, The pet shop seemed more than happy to sell us 2 and never said anthing about them not getting along when they were older so I assumed they would be ok. Me and dh have just spoke about it and if i see any signs of them not being nice to each other ill put one in a different hutch. cheesy
