Good Morning Everyone!!!!!! It is a going to be a beautiful day here with a high near 70 and slightly overcast. My sister got home from her vacation last night so I am getting ready to head out to her house. I had her pick me up some ornaments at bronners and I also need to get my laptop back. Then it will be off to the grocery store to start buying things for thanksgiving dinner. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What ornaments did you get?

Welcome to FRIDAY! TGIF! Speaking of TGIF. Anyone remember the block of shows in TGIF. Step by Step. Dinosaurs, Family Matters..lol. Ahhh. Those were the days. Its nice and cool today. In the high 60's and drizzle. Reminds me of....FALL! Fall is not that far off. Its almost July. 2 months after that is September. Woopie! Hmmm might watch Halloweentown tonight. Man holidays make me excited. *breath...breath* LOL. hmmmmmmm the wish book I THINK comes out next month? Well back to work I go. Have a great friday all!

Fall-like here, too - good baking day!

Wasn't Full House in that lineup as well? I remember my daughter loving that show because she happens to be the same age as the Olson twins and she loved watching the baby!

I noticed Halloweentown being on a lot recently. I might have to watch it too!

Full House was a cute show.

There are still good folks around. This is the sort of thing that helps to restore our sometimes waning faith in our fellow man. Thanks!

Yes, it does. Well said, Bradmac!

hey Louann, how are You and the furbabies? hope all is fine.

Kandice is recovering....but I seem to have caught a bronchitis....a bada++ one....fo real....anyhow.....cooking some cevapcici and djuvec rice

I hope this finds you better, track!

Good afternoon, MMC!

Still cloudy out, but the rain has stopped. I carted several boxes of glassware down to the basement and brought up a few pieces for next month. Found out where Bob moved her kittens and moved them to a different spot - she picked right where people park in the driveway. We kept moving them back and forth all morning - I think she finally understood that spot was off limits - apparently I am, too, because I don't know where they are now.

The Country Cinnamon Swirl bread is done and now I have Gingerbread Cupcakes in the oven - smells yummy! Next up are Chocolate Mint Cupcakes.

I made plans to get together with some girlfriends on Tues. Should be a lot of fun and I am looking forward to it very much.

I hope everyone is having a great day!!!!!!!!

thx for the well wishes @Louann and Mec.....I will be better in no time...I am sure...the coughing is still freakin annoying....fo sho

We have free HBO this weekend and I just noticed that Home Alone is on tomorrow

i'll be back full time from next week, don't forget to get the coffee brewing for my return cheesy

Good to see you on here, Johnor! Congrats on only one week to go - will have coffee brewing for you on your return!!!!

I am planning strategic (waterproof!) electrical outlets for my pool deck. I can already envision all of the Christmas lights I string around that thing! Cue the  from Nancy. She better just prepare herself.

I have a pecan tree in the center of the large deck. I kept it for the shade, and because my daddy planted it when we moved in the house. Anyway, I have a receptacle for the tree in the deck opening. I plan to attach white lights to each limb and twig. I saw this done at Dollywood, and it's beautiful!

They've all started calling me "Clark" or "Griswold". I take it as a compliment!cheesy

Hope everyone has a GREAT weekend!!! See ya sunday for the chat!!!

You sound like Betty Crocker. I wish you were my next door neighbor!!!

It is definitely a compliment!! Sounds like a warm, memory-making tribute!!!

The kiddos totally freaked with their gifts today at the end of summer school. I was in so much pain; it really hurts to walk most of all. But it was cool listening to them when they opened their surprise bags!! I gave a posttest in multiplication. Most of the students improved. One kiddo got better by 36 percent. She was so proud, and so was I!!!

I hope I do not forget about the Chat on Sunday. Hubby and I received a special invitation from the local Cub Scout troop sent to "Our best supporters." It's on Sunday, so we are definitely going. Hope to be back in time for the Chat, though!

Well, there are two chats (12pm PT and 5pm PT) so maybe you can mak one or the other.

I'm hoping I can make it but who knows! My husband is doing our town's beer fest tomorrow (he works in a microbrewery) so Sunday is our only family day this week... it's been a looong week, too, so I could use the help tomorrow but what can ya do!

I hope you can make it to one of them!

Good evening, MMC!

There is a nice cool breeze coming in the window - feels so much like fall - LOVE!!!

I didn't make any cookies because I ran out of room to put baked goods - and that is with half of the Gingerbread muffins being eaten by a relative. I thought they were too sweet so I put some cream cheese frosting on them - one brick of 1/3 less fat cream cheese and 1/4 cup of powdered sugar. Makes the cream cheese spreadable and gives it a different texture w/out the sweetness of all the sugar. Tomorrow, I wrap and freeze the leftovers - there will be enough there to last through the summer, if not longer. I love to bake, I just don't eat a lot of the goodies unless it is chocolate. I haven't touched the mint muffins - yay willpower!!!!!

I hope everyone who is feeling sore or under the weather is better!

Stay safe and have a great evening!!!!!!!!

My kind of dessert!
