Christmas Countdown - 2011

I'm checking in at the behest of one Binger from the great state of Virginnie! All is right with the world...and yes, I'm on a bit of a Dvorak kick...Blame it on the HUGE box of CD's I bought at a garage sale on Saturday, sort of sight unseen...I knew there were a couple of Christmas CD's in the stack but most of the discs are Classical music. I've always wanted to know more about Classical, so for 40 bucks, I have about two hundred discs worth of Classical genius! An old friend of this forum, and of mine said that Classical music is God speaking to us...I believe it! I'm not leaving the Rock world behind, just putting it on hold for a moment!

that sounds great I think a passion for rock and classical music can be quite compatible!

I know that some of you are experiencing heat. Right now it is drizzly, but rained steadily since this a.m. It is breezy and gray and oh, so cool. The windows are open and it feels like early fall. Oh, my, how wonderful. Probably next week, I will be whining about the heat.

Good evening Dear Christmas Family

Just getting ready to get started. I am still trying to get caught up and I am nearly there. Please everyone join Merry Christmas hands across the way and send some Christmas magic my way so that I can get caught up !! I was down by 13,000 characters and now I am down just 5,000. So Wish, Wish, wish !!

Please say a couple extra prayers if you could for us. This afternoon my husband had a verbal confrontation with our next door neighbor about an incident that occurred over the weekend.

Now, I can't say the neighbor should not have been talked to, needless to say never being one who is shy about expressing his opinons my husband really let this guy have it.

I thought he was just going to speak to the guy about it but as John Belushi used to say "But Nooooooooo..." He verbally trounced this man. This man is about 6 feet 5 inches, much bigger than me and bigger than my husband. I always get scared of confrontations especially with strangers. It has always been my fear that someone will hurt my furchildren. You just never know with people. I am praying that this man is not some kind of mentally unbalanced individual and that all will settle down.

This being 4th of July weekend I am really nervous.

Time for me to get started.

One VERY GOOD THING......Wishbone has not had an episode for almost TWO MONTHS !!!!!!! cheesy He is peaceully sleeping right now warpped up in an electric throw on my bed. He gets cold from the air and he also has arhtirits so I am sure the throw feels really good to him.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Vacation Bible School started for the kids yesterday. It's just this week, but it's another week when everyone is away from home till dark. I miss them, but it gives me an opportunity to work on the deck.

We're heading to the mountians Friday for a few days. I can't wait!

mgramsey is a lucky man to live there all the time!

I love Dvorak, Jay !! Of course, one of my very favorites is the New World Symphany ! I have been on a Betthoven/Mozart piano sonata kick lately !!!

Had a family day, I did get my haircut and then went to Lowes to get an idea of new colors to repaint the kitchen and living room, my wife wants to update the "look" of this place. Back to work tomorrow, 2 more work days until my vacation. Woohooooo!
