Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!
We got some much-needed rain yesterday. It's the talk of the town this morning! Nancy wanted some sand for a Vacation Bible School project yesterday. I had it in buckets in the back of my truck, but we couldn't keep it dry for all the rain. I bet it was pretty heavy by the time they unloaded it at the church.
Still counting the days until our Smoky Mountain vacation this weekend! I just check the weather in Asheville, NC... low 90's! Grrr. I was hoping to get away from the heat for a little while. Well, it'll be a little cooler in Maggie Valley than Asheville...I hope.

We took the grandkids to the gym yesterday. They love going and hanging out in the playroom and the lady that watches them has been there for 20 years. She is really good with the kids.
After we left there we took them to Chuck E. Cheese. I realized that my almost 2 year old granddaughter had not had a nap all day. She was so worn out that when they brought her over this morning she was asleep and still is!
As soon as she wakes up it's time for some, Merry Christmas Radio! I am in need of some Christmas music to cool me off!

I hope everyone is feeling well and having a great day!!!!!
Gorgeous sunny day and cool - I am inside, about to begin my work day, but I will be opening windows soon!! Had a great time with my friends yesterday - it was a much needed break for all of us. We had a leisurely lunch at McD's and walked the Rail Trail after. It was a very cool day out - great walking weather!
We visited all day and then when I got home, I found the fur kids in an uproar. It was dark out and there were no lights on in the house, so Mouse thought she had been deserted - she doesn't like being home alone in the dark. She had to tell me all about what had happened to her - several phone messages and Shaggy, the 125 pound part wolf German shepherd and outdoor dog, slipped his collar and was running wild among the cats, playing - he loves the cats, but they are afraid of him as he is so big and clumsy. Two of the kittens are still unaccounted for, but all the other ones seem fine other than the cold weather bothering them.

I do not have one, I juat keep adding chocolate until some ones says "that's insane!!" and then bake it. (that is how it got its name)
Good morning, Christmas friends. Another cool and overcast day here in northern California. Hubby and I looked on the weather map and it showed snow around Lake Tahoe!!! I wish it would stay this cool for the summer, but I am sure that's not going to happen. My plans for today include reading a teacher book and making plans for the fall. I already have lesson plans done up to the third week of January 2012. I really like to be ahead of the game but still leave space for the unknown! Have a great day, everyone!

I was kinda bummed at the lack of Christmas things at the craft show last weekend. Ah well...it won't be long & it will be out everywhere!
We have friends & their 2 kids coming from Pittsburgh this weekend to stay with us. We are really looking forward to it! It's been a busy few weeks around our house...parties, parties, parties - 5 in 3 weekends - I'm not going to know what to do with myself next week when they are all over! Lol!

just saw the trailer for THE SMURFS .....Kandice saw it and she is hooked........her pre-school group is called THE SMURFS.....she will soooooooooo love it
Hi guys and gals! Breezey, cooler day today in PA. Spent the morning at hte park with the kids this morning.. very nice.
