Ah! Shopping channel and Christmas. NOW I understand.
(Y'all have more stamina than I do. Generally can't make it much past midnight if I'm lucky. Since......well......you know me and sleep!)

I think we will be able to get out tomorrow, I'm not as bad as you were last week, I don't have a fever. I think I just need a day at home to relax and get some rest. I was as bummed out as you were last week we couldn't go out for Christmas in July, I'm not missing doing it 2 weeks in a row.oint:

Sitting on the deck.....drinking coffee.....think I'm going to do something outside this morning while it's still cool....(94)....they are calling for rain later today....that would be great
How many of us bought something off of QVC...I'm glad my wife is still asleep or we would have one of those trees that have no wires....I'm sure of it.

I left the house @ 830ish and went grocery shopping. I have to admit I dawdled for a bit because I KNEW it was gunna be muggy and getting oppressive when I walked back out to the car, sure enough it was. Supposed to be in the triple digits AGAIN today. BLAH!!!! Is it October yet? LOL

Good morning, everyone!
Just stopping in for a moment. My week was a little rough, but that's part of the job. Today is my friend's 30th birthday celebration. We are golfing this afternoon and then going out for dinner afterwards. It should be a great time. The only problem is that I have not golfed in about two years. It's going to be quite the embarrassing show.
For the third day in a row, it will be about 100F. Two days ago it was 102F without humidex. The humidex said that it felt like 115F. Crazy for Ottawa! Yesterday it was about 105. Hopefully there will be plenty of shade on the golf course!
The count is getting close. Less than two weeks away from 100 Days to the Season. Time flies! Especially so much that it is difficult to come on here regularly. Glad to see everyone is enjoying themselves. Have a wonderful weekend!

I waited to post this after the Elks convention in Phoenix. I did not want to get Carl all stirred up. One of the views from our windows was the Camelback Mountains. We also took the light rail on Camelback Road. I was afraid Carl would try to gallop (???) out here and miss the Pines!
