I stayed in there for roughly 5 minutes after everyone left- i had left but kept checking in.

My wife made me clean all day.....I missed it! LOL>>>>got a kick out of the comment, Made. Funny! But enjoyed keeping up with you two this weekend.Wifey doing clinicals kinda makes the weekend her time...she has two more weeks and then it's over. Can't wait to have her back home full time! Her being gone was fun for 3 or 4......hours.....but 5 weeks is not fun at all! Make no mistake about it....I will be here on Dec. 23 for sure!
Friends, have a great week....see everyone tomorrow night.

Good morning, MMC!
I have been up since before 3 - I knew last night that was going to happen this morning just didn't know why. The why came in the form of my 125 pound plus, exuberant part wolf and German shepherd, Shaggy, who got loose and was running about, joyfully make all the noise he could. No flashlight, so had to take care of things in the dark.
Tried to go back to sleep afterward, but no go. Binger, Made - thank you for the laughs this morning cheesy
It is still muggy in the house. The storm I was watching come in last night during the chat blew right by - not a single drop of rain. Nothing forecast until Wednesday, the day I have plans to lunch with friends and do a bit of shopping.

Good morning Christmas friends and Merry Christmas in July!!!
We got behind schedule yesterday on my Christmas cookies because my hand mixer blew up! So I will not be able to decorate the cookies until after work today. I'm kind of sad, because I wanted to share them with my coworkers too, but I guess I'll have to settle with bringing them to small group tonight and enjoying the rest over the next couple of days.
I'm sad that I missed the chats last night! I went out to dinner with a friend before she moves this Thursday. We had Cheesecake Factory and got there right as a cool front FINALLY moved through the area, so we sat out on the patio and just talked for hours. I'm going to miss her!
I got home in time to watch the final segment for the Bethlehem Lights and I have to admit it. With like 4 min left, I almost caved and I was like SO close to submitting my order for like 6 strands. Then I realized that my DH would have KILLED me if I had done so LOL. I did hold out and didn't purchase anything this weekend, but was very close a couple of times. I can see how QVC or HSN could become a problem for some people now!
I'm off to work now and I'll either be listening to my Christmas cd's or listening on the radio if our local station does their CIJ stunt like they usually do each year. They've changed formats this year, so I am hoping they still do it. I've got a trip to Starbucks planned for a peppermint white mocha. Hope you all have a great, festive day! I'll hopefully pop back in tonight!

Well, we were supposed to top out at 99 yesterday to break our triple-digit temperature string but it didn't happen.
We wound up at 101 for our 5th straight day of 100+ temps.
OK. Today they say only 94 and I'm holding them to it! (Or else no visit from Santa this year!)
