I will not be able to catch up on the post yet so sorry if I missed some. The kids were here until 8:30 pm last night, I had them for 13 hours. My daughter and son-in-law had to work late. The kids were real good but I was SO TIRED and didn't get a chance to get on here.

The kids are here now and I am about to make breakfast. I will try to catch up later.

Johnor, praying for you all!

CM3, praying for your little Wish!

Made, great news on football! Football is part of Thanksgiving and the Christmas holidays to me! Go Cowboys!!!! =)

Good Morning MMC !

Woke to an amazing morning, the sky is blue, humidity is gone, a cool breeze coming in the window. Kitchen floor looking like an army with dirty boots marched through it.
Well, it is almost all great!

Good Morning, Friends and Supporters of Everything Christmas.

Moving straight away to our ever-exciting count:
Days to the Season: 110
Days to Christmas Day: 152
And there you have it, Folks.
As of tomorrow - single digits to double digits.
We will be down to nine days off from the start of our double-digits count to the Season.
Incredible!

Goodness!
What a rain we had yesterday! (And we so needed it.)
Knocked our temps down too, from a high of 97 to about 78.
(At long last we topped out below 100 degrees!)
Of course, once the rain ceased, we moved right back up the temperature scale.
Now the heat begins again. From the mid nineties today, we are supposed to climb right back over 100 by Friday.
And so it goes.

Well, be you hot, cold or somewhere in between, have a Terrific Tuesday, Everyone!

Now......not so good news. Wish had another episode yesterday.

When he has one of these, I just hold him in my arms and cradle him like a baby. He knows me........he never loses his mentation......but he wants to get up and roam around and during the episodes he cant walk.........so I hold him and sometimes sing to him.......I talk to him too.

I am afraid. It seems they are getting closer. I know it is not up to me but I don't want to lose my little man. I wish I could give my life for his. But then he would be kind of lost without me. We are two peas in a pod if a dog and person can be........I know you are all praying and thinking of us........I am afraid I am going to have another announcement to make soon and it is not a good one.

But maybe not ! We are not there yet. I am going to love and hold and just absolutely spoil him while I still have him.........

Wishbone has been a gift given to you for a time. The most difficult part of sharing your life with him is dealing with his departure. Although you know death is a part of life, there is really no way to prepare yourself for his passing. You are going to miss him, but until then enjoy the time you still have together.
praying for you!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I worked all yesterday evening on my sign rental business. I had been a bit concerned about the dwindling advertising market, then I get several calls and now I'm working like a madman. As they say, it's "feast or famine" sometimes. I won't complain about the work!

I've been looking at pictures from last year's vacation, and I'm getting the itch to go back to the mountains! Too bad I have to wait till October. I hope I don't sound too spoiled!

Y'all have a great day! cheesy

CM3 and Johnor, you're in my heart and my thoughts.

A weird day yesterday. I found out that the executor of my dad's estate fired the estate attorney in January; neither the executor nor the lawyer notified me. I had to get in touch with a lawyer in Florida yesterday; he's going to find out what's going on with the estate. I guess I shouldn't say any more about it until I hear back from the lawyer. I was shocked and upset to learn that something's going on behind my back---I feel threatened. Not physically, just uneasy to think that someone I don't even know may be trying to maneuver between me and my dad's will. I hope I'm wrong.

Good morning, Christmas friends. Hubby and I will soon be on our way to Chico for appointments, then breakfast at one of our favorite restaurants, then back home. Later I will go to my classroom to get some packing and moving done. CM3, I hope Wish gets better. We know how much you love him and all animals. Have a great day, everyone!

Every once in a while we get there. We usually take our trailer, but with gas prices these days we've not taken many trips. There are some gorgeous houses there. One friend has one (their "cabin") that is bigger than our regular house! I've had fun on the paddle boats!

Chico...there's a place I haven't been to for a number of years. You ever get up to Lake Almanor?

Oh yes, that's a definite California thing, building those "little" mountain cabins! I had a magical 4th of July once up at Lake Almanor -- they had fireworks and everything. Can't imagine why they would do that in a forested area like that but it was definitely something to remember the quiet, glass-like surface of the water with the fireworks reflecting off of it. We felt so far away on that night, you know, that intimate feeling you get in the woods, so to be there at the water's edge in that situation and to see the fireworks was quite unique.

Man, I need a vacation -- the memory is putting me in the mood!!!

Good morning! You all are making me want to go on vacation!!! :)

I don't think I mentioned yesterday that after our Christmas in July party on Saturday night - Sunday I think I had a little bit of the after Christmas blues! I'm over it now, but we were all like "awwwe...it's over!" :(

I am almost finished crocheting a scarf for special olympics. It was SO HOT outside last week I thought - can't go outside anyway (without roasting) so I might as well start on a scarf for SO. They aren't due until January, so I have time to make another or maybe few more. Need to find another pattern to try!

CM3 - I hope your "baby" is ok!!

Make it a great day!

Good morning,

I am once again standing in front of the TV hooked up to the cord to check out whats going on here. My router is giving me fits I even spoke to "Peggy" at customer service last night to help me out with it but with his accent and his what seemed like his non-believing of my problem it was fruitless. I truly miss being here, I have visited and joined some other Christmas forums, but this is home for me. I don't have the warm fuzzies going to the other sites. Well we need to start painting the living room soon for my sister and bro in law's visit, we just painted it not even 3 years ago but the better half wants a change, just shake my head and nod. cheesy Christmas can't here fast enough this year, I will be having surgery on Dec. 23 it was finalized last week, so i get to sit around an watch Christmas movies for a few days.

I hope to be here full time again soon, I miss everyone.

Have a good day.

Congrats to Made on being the July Member of the Month! cheesy

Good to see you online again, Xmas365. Your absence has been keenly felt. Sorry to hear that pesky router continues to be a problem -- hopefully we can get it resolved soon!
