Opened the paper this morning and saw our weather prediction for today - 103 degrees!
Can you spell h-y-p-e-r-t-h-e-r-m-i-a?
(Tell Bing it's getting hot enough here to perk coffee without the sidewalk.)
Glad I got my father's lawn mowed yesterday morning!

Any Journey fans here? They are about to be on the Today Show.

I love Journey and saw them when I was 12 years old. That is back when Steve Perry was lead singer. The new lead singer is awesome and sounds just like Steve to me.

Other than dealing with intense drama with my best friend's wedding coming up, I also suffered a concussion at Kohl's last Friday when I was helping with the truck, so I have been seeking treatment all week long. Thankfully I'm doing better now and I hope it stays that way.

Bo woke me up at 1:44 - thunder was rumbling off in the distance. I mean way off, too! The utility room light was put on for him and he went to sleep, snoring louder than a buzz saw. I stayed awake until around 4.

I always says my chihuahua predicts the weather, if she is nervous, shaking and pacing I turn on the tv to see if there are thunderstorms nearby. She knows about even before I do! She should become a weather lady!

I think this maybe my first post in a Christmas countdown. I feel like I never can keep up with whats going on so I never posted. So here we go.

I'm so glad NFL football is back I took my daughter to the New England Patriots training camp yesterday we watched practice and then my daughter enjoyed the football themed fair with obstacle courses and skill competions I learned she can throw a football pretty well!!!!

I've been gone a while, but mainly because it seemed all H-E-double hockey sticks broke loose last week. Other than dealing with intense drama with my best friend's wedding coming up, I also suffered a concussion at Kohl's last Friday when I was helping with the truck, so I have been seeking treatment all week long. You are right. It is definitely a win-win situation!

Supposedly going shopping and having lunch - will see if the plans are still going. I didn't receive an e-mail confirmation like I was supposed to, but she is notoriously bad at remembering to send those. If I don't go, I am going to work on my Christmas notebook and listen to Christmas music. Gee, I can't lose today!!!!

Good morning, Christmas friends. Another hot one on deck for us today. I have lots of work to do in my classroom still, so I won't be on again until later tonight. I have PT at 4:45 in Chico, and then hubby and I will have dinner at the restaurant we went to on Tuesday. Hope everyone has a great day!

Good late afternoon, everyone. It is still hot here in northern California, but what else is new? The dentist put on my new crown after he took out the temporary filling. Then he filled a cavity. He decided to do this without novocaine! I was ready to come unglued!!! I guess I will find another dentist. Then he told me my yearly insurance "allowance" was used up so I owed him $279 for filling a cavity that he did not ask me if he could! Hubby and I will be leaving soon for the Elks Lodge for a taco dinner. Then it will be back home to watch the tube! Have a great evening!

Ouch! I'm afraid he'd be in need of some dental work if he tried that on me! :x
