I think this maybe my first post in a Christmas countdown. I feel like I never can keep up with whats going on so I never posted. So here we go.

Welcome to the Christmas Countdown thread!

Good Afternoon Everyone!!!!!!!! It is hot here in central Indy but it seems to be the same no matter where you live right now. It's been a bad couple of days here. I had troubles getting on here yesterday and finally had to go through a proxy server to do it. Then I figured out I had a virus on one of my computers that norton didn't catch so I had to do a complete restore on both computers. Then my sister ended up in the ER with chest pains. It turned out to just be inflamation but our family doesn't have the greatest history with heart problems so we were all pretty worried. This morning I finished getting the computers back up and discovered I still couldn't get on here. After another 3 hours of trying things I discovered that I was having the same problem as Xmas. My wireless router seems to blocking the site for some reason. I'm calling it the member of the month curse. I tried everything I could to reset the router but nothing helped. So I decided to go buy a new one. I walked out to my truck to discover 2 flat rear tires. I decdied then that it was time to call it a day and I should just go back to bed. So I am off to take a nap and hopefully when I wake up this will have all been a dream. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

What a time you've had, Made! YIKES!

Keep in mind...there's no where to go but UP from here! :playing:

There...all caught up now :-D

I'm still listening to the Podcast #9 - and I'm loving it! I love hearing the voices of the MMC people we see here all the time! This is making me smile BIG time!!! This is such a good idea!!!

Well...the weekend is here! We have a 3-day long weekend this weekend too! YA!

Hubby and I have a golf date tomorrow morning! I just love playing golf!

Wishing all my Christmas friends joy and happiness and Christmas in your hearts! Nighty-night and sweet dreams (of Christmas)!

Holy guacamole - we just had an INSANE storm! Trees down and uprooted all over, a few houses were hit by trees, cars were hit, I found shutters from houses away in my yard (shingles too), debris galore - WHAT THE HECK!! I was so scared! I ran to cover my kids up! They slept through the whole thing, thank goodness! I'm just praying for all of my neighbors with damage to their homes and hoping everyone is ok!

Wow, weather sure has been keeping everyone on their toes this year. Glad that you all are ok. Will say a little prayer for all there, that they are all ok.

made: I'm glad your sister is ok! Tomorrow will be way better!

Bradmac: Wow - hope next week is not such a grrrrr for you!

judesmama: I'm glad you are ok - praying for the people in your area!

Good evening, MMC!

Today was a good day! Ended up going to Frankenmuth for our shopping and lunch trip. Went to Zehnder's for lunch - I really don't like the chicken of which they are world famous so I had the dried cherry salad and milk - YUMMY! I got the large and it was way bigger than I thought it would be - only ate about 2/3 of it - made sure to eat all the cherries, though cheesy

Afterwards we went to Bronners. Oh my goodness, there are so many ornaments I want - and we were only there about 15 minutes, too. If I had the time to browse I would be in serious trouble. We are planning on a trip back in September :D I took a few pictures of ornaments with my phone, but can't figure out how to get them from the phone to the computer. I thought I could send them to my email, but they never showed up. When I do finally figure it out, I will post them here. I might have to buy a USB cord - it is an odd sized one that I need.

Have a great evening - I'll say a little prayer for all of you!!!!!!!!

Bumped into some cousins at the grocery store - haven't seen them in quite a while. It was nice to catch up with them. I am home now, and getting ready to do some reading and hopefully, falling asleep early.

Ok - not sure why my last two paragraphs are out of order. I must be more tired than I thought

I hope youc an get those pics posted!!! You lucky gal, you! What a fun day!

Sorry to hear!

I am glad your sister is ok!

It looks like a great time!!!! How was the movie?
The movie was amazing, but all I could think of through much of it was how awful it was for people to have personally experienced it. I cried as I watched people walking around their destroyed neighbourhoods and shuddered as I watched that monster come towards the TIV. The noise was deafening.
I know this is a reality for to many people. Now I understand a little better just how terrifying it must have been.

I am grateful there are people brave enough to chase these storms and figure out how they form so that folks can better protect themselves with more warnings sooner.

so glad to hear you are all safe.

And with this post, CAH is poster #15,800. For her efforts, she wins rain in a bottle. Let's hear it for CAH!!! Woo Hoo!

The humidity is around 50-60%. They just reported that Tropical Storm Don is dying down and rain from it might not make it our way. =(

We are suffering a drought and sure could use it!
