Well.. Today my poor boyfriend is fighting some sort of stomach bug..

I have a rotten cold and chest infection so I'm in bed watching Christmas movies all day

28 more days til my surgery. I think I have went through the scared already.

Had a lovely wedding yesterday. DH's neice got married and her father officiated, he is a minister. It was so lovely.

We had a memorial service for DH's aunt today. It was also very nice.

Well tomorrow is first of August. In 6 hours and 44 minutes it will be 5 months til December. WOOO where has this year gone? I am also looking forward to fall myself and can not wait until i start smelling that spicy scent in the air that heralds cool weather. Cooler weather means lovely spiced ciders and teas, means hot cocoa, curling up with a favorite blanket in some cozy slippers and reading a great book. Cooler weather means no more sweating our butts off while cleaning the yard. It means leaves falling and beautiful colors to be had. I LOVE autumn. Pumpkins and ghoulies peeking at me. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT.

I Am awesome!!! Going to inialate(sp?) some english ivy thats trying to take over my fence:/ and then get ready for the bday BBQ! My Dearest bf is feeling a little bit better.. he slept for 17 hours!!! But said he's still a little sick feeling. Knock on wood, I am Feeling fine!

I love me some autumn for sure. It feels like fall in here right now. DH has the AC way up because our upstairs in warm. He works nights so he sleeps during the day. So I am wearing thick socks, a sweater, yoga pants, and a t-shirt. We need a sperate unit:wiggy:for upstairs.

July 2011 has been the hottest month in Indy since the 1936 dust bowl. We will also finish the month 4 inches below normal in rainfall making it the driest July ever. .

My a/c is set on 60 degrees so I am sitting here with a cover over my legs even though it is 91 degrees outside. I have to set it that low to cool down my bedroom like you.

OOOOOOO I smell skillet BBQ chicken. HMMMM could be that I am cooking it right now. NUMMY ummy goodness.

Yep its colder than a reindeer sitting on an iceberg in here. My poor cat is trying to hide under the one coverlet I have on my other chair.

HEHEHEHE I already started getting out my holday recipes books and my craft guides. I am going to be honest I have NOT began my gift shopping yet. There has been discussion that this year we are doing cookie jars for each family and getting the grandkiddies a stocking fulla stuff. Not sure yet. We did Christmas Towels last year (thanks HeadElf for the idea) and htey went over as a big hit. Yes I am a 31 yr old stepgrandmama but I do not require them to call me as such because their biological grandma has that title. I am just their Bonnie, and that is it.
So was looking at some trees for this year. I do not think our little tree is gunna make it out this year. 3/4 of the lights that are on it permanently are out and we can not find one broken bulb or frayed wire. Have checked the fuses and they are good. So looking at another tree and possibly taking Ole Baldy apart and using him for swags and maybe using his top as a tree table. It is sad, he has been a great little tree but now it is time for him to do something else. :wiggy:
