good saturday morning, my christmas friends!

I'm working at bernie's store in beautiful, downtown bellville, ga all day today. The coffee has been brewed, the sausage, bacon & eggs have been cooked, and i've already eaten. Mmmm, mmmm!

6:00 am to 7:00 pm, but i don't mind. It's too hot to be outside, anyways!

Evening folks! It's wine o'clock in the depths of Scotland and I'm putting a Care package together for Bruce (because obviously a Walmart the size of 12 football fields isn't enough!) I've got to get it mailed tomorrow because there's only 2 weeks left of camp - can't believe how quickly it's gone. Once camp is over, he and a friend........let's call her Ashley (!) are heading to DC then Toronto then New York then back to Philly to fly home. The arrival back to the land of plaid is Sept 8th which, in my book, is well and truly fall, so YAY!!!!!!!!!!

On a sadder note, the girl I married last week died yesterday; just a baby at 19. Still, they had a week together which he'll have in his memory forever.

I have been meaning to write this for a little bit now but I just kept forgetting about it. I just really want to appreciate and thank Jeff for all he did when we were trying to figure out what was wrong and why I couldn't get on this great site. We must have exchanged 35-40 emails trying to get to the bottom of the problem. I just really want to thank him for taking time out of his busy schedule to help me with that.

Jeff is awesome and I am glad he was able to help. I feel bad because I told him I would talk to my son about it and see what we could do to help and just forgot! My son is in college for computer technology and learning all this stuff. By the time he graduates he should be able to fix any computer and network problems. Sorry that I never asked him about it but glad it is all up and running for you!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!!!! We are entering day 21 of our heat wave here in central Indy. The projected high for today is 91 but at least there is a 50 percent chance of storms. I am going shopping for school supplies this morning. My sister is still having chest pains so she hasn't had a chance to go get my nieces the stuff they need yet. So I am going to run into target this morning and pick up the basics for them. Then it will be time to come home and hopefully enjoy the rain. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am going shopping for school supplies this morning. My sister is still having chest pains so she hasn't had a chance to go get my nieces the stuff they need yet. Dollar Tree starting putting school supplies out too if you need to save a little cash. They also have fall decorations out! =)

I had a dream last night that it SNOWED in August! It seemed so real, snowing like crazy outside so I decided to put my tree up. In the dream some neighbors walked by my apartment (I actually live in a house but in my dream an apartment) saw the tree and thought I was crazy.

Ahhhhhh! Snow and a Christmas Tree in August! What a nice dream! laying:

They still think it's just inflammation of her chest wall so they started her on steroids yesterday. Just to be on the safe side though she is at the hospital right now getting a heart scan. Thanks for the tip about Dollar general. It's actually the closest store to me so I'll check them out first.

I have a friend that I knew at church back in Maryland. I found out recently that he has Multiple Myeloma ( it is a cancer that affects the bone marrow). It is the same thing my father died of, my father was diagnosed on Thanksgiving day 1976 and he died on March 15th 1977. Knowing my father he waited too long before finally going to the doctor. Anyway my friend just posted on Facebook that he is responding well to the meds, and his markers are down by 50%. So that was great to know.

I have know Dave (that's his name) for about 30 years, he is a great guy, and a very strong and faithful Christian. When I first became a Christian, he took me under his wing and helped me learn with lots of one on one Bible study. I would appreciate any prayers for Dave, if you don't mind.

Morning, friends! It's actually cool enough that I'm sitting on my deck drinking coffee (Well, it's just 86). We had some rain come through yesterday to give us a little reprieve from the heat. Last evening was nice, as well as this morning. Here in a few hours, it's supposed to get up to 101 with heat index of 110. Enjoying it while I can!

Office work and yard work today....hopefully, 6000 posts by the end of this weekend. Hope all has a great day.....

Off to get another cup of coffee....
