Good evening,

My early morning was tough getting up but the project was a 100% completely successful, so that is off my mind. My wife's grandmother in Canada is back in the hospital, and not doing to well. It has been a tough month with her family with her other grandmother passing away, her mother in the hospital for a week, and other issues. We will get through this as we always do. A day off tomorrow, guess what I get to do??? PAINT! (you all know the rest cheesy )

That is another thing I hate about our local ER. When you walk into most ER's and complain of chest pains they take you straight back and hook you up to a EKG to check for a heart attack. Not here. They just tell you to take a seat and it usually takes 3 hours to get called back.

A few years back I had a bad cold , coughing so much it made my chest hurt really bad. It would not ease up so I went to emerg to see if something else was going on. Told them about the sharp pain when I coughed and before I could say any more they had me strapped to a heart monitor with the doc declaring there was nothing wrong with my heart, why did I think I was having a heart attack? Talk about not listening!!

so that was a glitch? I pressed preview and that message about having just posted and needing to wait 5 min would come up too. I know the 1st one went through, because Chef Matt pm me. The second one I never heard anything about so not sure if it did or not.

Hey Christmas friends!

I've MIA for a bit with having some internet problems and then being gone on a family reunion float trip in Oklahoma. It was a really good trip, but MAN was it hot out there!!! The temperatures were over 100 the whole time we were there, but thankfully there was an extra queen bed available in one of the air conditioned cabins and so DH, DD and I got to have some relief at night!

So now I am back home and finally have my internet working full speed again. Feels much better! DH is on vacation this week at work, which would be great, but I actually have ended up on overtime at work this week. What is that they say about the best laid plans?

I'm getting ready to start putting together my Christmas prep plans for the year. I use a combination of the 3 plans on Organized Christmas. I never finish the plan all of the way through, but any progress is better than nothing. I'm looking forward to focusing on getting my house in order and getting to enjoy some Christmas cheer along the way!

Last night I was picking up my daughter from work at 11 and passing a building near downtown noticed that there was a bunch of smoke on top of it. This is an older building so I first thought chimney, but no, it was all over the roof and getting thicker and there was a glow along with it. So I call 911 to get the fire department down there. By the time they get there the smoke is gone, as is the glow that came with it.
I showed them where I saw this happening.
Just then he gets a call on his radio...they are filming something on the roof that included a scene with a smoke machine!
I apologized for having them come for no reason and he told me it was ok, they were happy it was nothing and I was right to call when I saw the smoke. (we don't get much excitement here, they probably just liked getting out for awhile!)

When I was a kid and a teenager, I would plan my day with a bubble bath, opening one gift (ALWAYS Christmas pajamas). Before getting ready for bed, we always had a party including all our nearby relatives and food of ham, potato salad, and other fixings, plus glorious desserts. The tree lights would be on and Christmas music playing! Man, I miss those days!!!

Hello!

Well, went to my parents house last night.. and it turns out.. I am not the only Christmas crazy in the family. My dear sister has a christmas countdown on her Ipod.. which I found out about when she excitingly said.. "DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY DAYS TILL CHRISTMAS!!!!! Here I can tell you!!".. Luckily I had the correct answer :lol: (geezz.. i wonder how LOL). The app was cute, played dolly parton in the background haha. My mother than told me she will begin shopping soon..

Also, Today I heard christmas music coming from my telly... Turns out staples has christmas music on their back to school commercial hahaha.. I then thought to myself.. ahh yes It is on its way:)


Hope today was great for all!
