Good morning,


We have to run off to the local meat store to pick up some steaks for my sister and bro in law for the weekend, that store is having incredible prices so need to take advantage of it. It will also be the first time since the tornado my sister will see the town, she is going to be in complete shock when she sees it. Then it is time to come home and finish the painting. I am still trying to figure out some more recipes for the cookbook, I have done some so far, but I can get some more.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I'm finally getting to my desk. We've spent the last two hours complaining about politics. Ugh. I think after a term as mayor, I'll run for senate and fix all this mess...LOL!

I worked on the deck yesterday evening until the lightning ran me inside. It rained a little last night, and was a little cooler this morning. I won't last, though. It's supposed to be over 100° again today. Come on FALL!!!

I almost forgot!
I get to go to Vermont for a few days! Totally unexpected. My family is paying all expenses because I have barely been working the past year. It will be so nice to get away for awhile.

If you are in Southern Vermont, Putney to be exact, there is a place called Santa's Land http://www.santasland.com/ it is fun for us Christmas folk. I haven't been in a long time, considering I only live an hour or so away from there.

just looked at our weather report because it is suddenly getting dark and found this..

This is an alert to the potential development of severe thunderstorms with large hail, damaging winds or heavy rainfall..Monitor weather conditions and listen for updated bulletins.

Some thunderstorms developing over the area could produce local torrential downpours and wind gusts to 90 km/h.

It worked!!!! It rained here for an hour last night!!!! It may have even helped push the 90 degree weather out of here.

Still waiting to leave, wife has been on the phone for nearly an hour, just blabbing away while we have these errands to get done. She was pushing me to get ready and we are still waiting, the phone her biggest nemesis. cheesy

Well an update on my post from yesterday morning, the new guy that started at work yesterday wasn't for my department, so the waiting continues. What irks me is that the department he went to has plenty of help, we are shorthanded, the guy on first shift is working alone, that's who I am supposed to be working with. He and I are both getting extremely tired of this.

I hope they get someone hired soon.

Good morning again, Christmas family !!!! It looks like I am back. After trying multiple, multiple different methods the most odd and remote chance worked. I had downloaded Google Chrome - Didnt help. I downloaded Firefox- Didnt help. Then I was using a proxy server which eventually stopped working also. A few moments ago, I decided to try one more thing. I downloaded a browser called Opera and guess what - Here I am !!!!!! I have no idea why the other browsers don't work or why this one does. All I know is I am here.

No to the business of trying to catch up !!!! Big ((((((HUGS)))))) Christmas Family xo

That's great news CM3!!!!!!!! I tried opera when I was having problems and it didn't work for me but I am glad to here that it is working for you.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!! It is a cloudy cool morning here in central Indy. We have only reached 74 degrees at 10:50am so it looks like our 90 degree weather streak may be over after 23 days. I even saw highs it the 70's on the 10 day forecast. I have some cleaning to do today and then I plan on just kicking back and relaxing. It has been a long couple of weeks. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!

My sister hosted a Birthday Lunch for our Mom yesterday. We had shrimp cocktail, seafood chowder, steamed crabs, crablegs, corn on the cob, and strawberry cake. We sat down to eat at 1:00, and ate and talked until around 4:00. We're still full!

That sounds delicious..thats how we do it in Maryland =0)

My early morning was tough getting up but the project was a 100% completely successful, so that is off my mind. My wife's grandmother in Canada is back in the hospital, and not doing to well. It has been a tough month with her family with her other grandmother passing away, her mother in the hospital for a week, and other issues. We will get through this as we always do. A day off tomorrow, guess what I get to do??? PAINT! (you all know the rest cheesy )

I need to find one of those in my family! I am glad my husband joins me in the fun! I am also trying to keep the spirit alive year round for my grandkids.
