The weather at night has been so nice now, we don't need to have the air on and we can open the windows. Yesterday I even smelled a hint of fall in the air! (leaves and fireplaces!). Its almost that time! I was talking to my Mom saying how very soon we will be pulling out the fall/Halloween stuff. She is excited too.

Lucky you! Fall is still a couple months away for us. :sad:

Weather has been nice here too. We now have the AC off and the windows open. Temp was 55 outside and 65 inside when we got up this morning. Wish hot weather would stay away.

That sounds wonderful! I am suffering severe cabin fever. I tried several times today to just go outside for a few minutes and the heat is overwhelming! Just had to head right back in and sit in front of the ac.

With my luck I would get run over by my neighbor when he gets home.

I remember those days when we lived in Dallas. Watering the foundation of the house and cutting grass using the outside flood lights. Dallas/FW is a great city but the heat can be miserable.

well my dearest friends.. I am feeling no better today. Had to go to work for a couple hours as they could not find a replacement till later on.. LONGEST 3 hours of my life hahaha. Hopefully this flu or whatever it is finds a different home soon.. because this one is so OVER IT! I slept for 95% of yesterday... about to take some gravol and sleep away part of this day! Hope all is well.

Hello All, I have not been here for awhile, but I have kept my Christmas Pals and the spirit of Christmas alive in my heart everyday. I have read through some posts but of course I have LOTS of catching up to do. I woke up this morning and looked at my countdown calendar and can't believe the holiday is almost here again. Only 130 days!!! For some that seems like forever, but for those of us who keep it alive all year, it is just around the corner. My heart filled with such joy when I signed on today. It really brings the holiday to life when I am here among people who share my love for the season. I would like to wish everyone a MERRY day, and tell you all how so very happy I am to be here and see everyone!!!

Yeah, it's really bad and they only want us to water twice a week! Everyone's grass is in such bad shape this year that I have not even heard a lawn mower run in 2-3 months. Nothing to cut.

What a lovely evening it is here in Mid-Michigan. I am finished with all of my work for today. YAY - I can enjoy tomorrow without feeling guilty! I have some housework to take care of and then I am going to go outside for a bit.

a bit chilly this morning at only 17c or about 62f.
Off to Toronto again, my brother is unexpectedly coming for a visit this Thursday from British Columbia (after driving across country to move his ex to some where in south Georgia) My daughter has an appointment in London, the car alternator died yesterday, I have a birthday cake to make for Friday, the family wants to now get together for a BBQ so everyone can at least say hi to Rick when he is here, I have to go to Toronto 2 more times, I need to do some laundry and pack before leaving for Vermont on Sunday.
I'm tired just talking about my week!

and I closed the window I am siting next to because I am getting cold.
