Christmas Countdown - 2011

Evening to all at the Pines! Kinda sitting around...enjoying peace and quiet tonight...football start tomorrow night and that means Thursday and Friday for the next ten weeks are taken up. Good time of year, though. I enjoy it. Bout to head to bed....talk to y'all later! Don't stay up too late at the Pines!

I just found out that Carl does not know geography. He keeps singing, "And the Northern girls, with the way they kiss...." I keep telling him I am a Southern girl!!!

We are having a late dinner tonight of homemade spaghetti. Well, at least I think so. I keep tasting the sauce because it tastes so good to me!!! Hubby is doing the garlic bread. It is almost time for dinner. Caninemom3, speak to Carl!!!

I hope everyone has enjoyed the pictures I have posted. I have a few more to post later. And even some Halloween pictures I had taken too. I still work on my days off (helping an elderly) and we have errands to do today. So I better sign off for now. But promise to return later. No ... the cold's better, so I've got to go back to work tomorrow, so the Under-the-Weather Film Festival closed today.

I can't believe I never seen Christmas in Connecticut. I need to add that to my Christmas movie list! =)

It's okay ... it's worth seeing, but you haven't missed much, compared with some of the other classics. If you buy or borrow the DVD, BE SURE to watch "Star in the Night," which is included as an extra. It's an Oscar-winning short that we watch every Christmas Eve.

How's pinesday for All? Mine is great, celebrating mine and Aarons 1 year anniversary today I believe we're going out for dinner in a little bit to a place called The Clam bucket. Probably my favorite restaurant out of all the places I've been!

Long night at work, I was flying solo tonight so I was quite backed up with everything, but I left it how it needs to be for opening tomorrow. I drove to work listening to Bing Crosby Christmas music, it just felt right listening to it. "Bers" will be here in a little under an hour, I am starting to get so psyched for the season. We are having a Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday with all the fixins, I cannot wait to smell the turkey and everything else.

I must get to bed, 5:15 gets here too quickly, and who had the last apple fritter at the Pines tonight, I put that request in to Carl last week for it. cheesy

I just got done working ! Woo ! I am pooped ! But it is much BETTER than my working nights.

I want to tell everyone here I am so sorry for the misunderstanding Annette had about Christmas Blossoms having started becuse of me. I wrote her and let her know that sometimes when it comes to CHRISTMAS !!!!! I lose what little mind I have !! I also let her know that the thread doesn't start until toward the end of Sept.

I also gave her a link to the ornament exchange since she asked. I am really sorry if I made anyone think Christmas Blossoms had started.

You have to realize, dear Christmas family, I lived my youth during the 1960s...........My mind is.........well.......'Nuff said :-D
