*Good Morning, Christmas Friends*

Happy 1st day of September!! Fall is in the air!
(I wish it would hurry up & get here, we have a high of 110 again today...sigh!)
Today will be a busy one between work meetings, errands, and a vet appointment for Harlowe.
I hope you all are having a safe & happy week so far...one more day until the weekend! Can't wait.
Have a terrific day!

~Stacey

Good morning, everyone!

Thursday, September 1st, 2011. Yep. September! Thought I would just stop by for a quick "Hello," as we enter this new month! Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Happy first day of September!

Have a great day - it is almost Autumn!!!!!

I knew you all would be as excited as I am about it being September 1! I am sooo tempted to pull out the fall decorations but I think I'll wait until I take down my "Americana" stuff after September 11.. it'll be a struggle to leave those gorgeous fall leaves and pumpkins and such in the basement for 10 more days, though!!

If you buy or borrow the DVD, BE SURE to watch "Star in the Night," which is included as an extra. It's an Oscar-winning short that we watch every Christmas Eve.
I will check that out. Thanks!
Sorry I missed the fun tonight, but I didn't want to spread my cold germs around. I'll be there next week for the first 'Ber 'Pinesday.
I think I caught your cold! My throat is sore and I am not feeling too well. =(
I want to tell everyone here I am so sorry for the misunderstanding Annette had about Christmas Blossoms having started becuse of me. I wrote her and let her know that sometimes when it comes to CHRISTMAS !!!!! I lose what little mind I have !! I also let her know that the thread doesn't start until toward the end of Sept.

I also gave her a link to the ornament exchange since she asked. I am really sorry if I made anyone think Christmas Blossoms had started.
Hey! It's not a problem at all! At least you let her know to be prepared when it does come out. There is so MUCH on these forums (it's a good thing!) that I get lost all the time. Christmas Blossoms will be here soon so all is good. :!!

Get the fall stuff out and mix it with the Americana stuff.

Welcome to the "BERSSSSSSSSSS"!

Yay!!!!!!

Cold front will be here Sunday!!!! That is exactly what the news said. You won't believe it but the high will be 98 degrees. They really said cold front???

Back at work and coming back to life today ... happy September 1st!

Glad you are starting to feel better! Take it easy still the next couple of days! You will need it!

Thanks, I'll try, but it depends on how busy it is at the office today and tomorrow!

I think I caught your cold! My throat is sore and I am not feeling too well. =(

Oh, no! And I stayed home from the 'Pines to keep my germs to myself! Quick, disinfect your mouse! Next time I'll turn my head away from the screen when I cough. If it's my cold, it'll hit you hard, but start getting better in a couple of days. Have lots of tea with honey and lemon, plenty of soup, double-feature movies, and sleep.

Actually my grandkids have been dealing with a cold this week so I caught it from them. I was suppose to have a long day with the kids today but my son in law called and will be home with them. He is sick too! =(

I wasn't sure how I was going to hold up to keeping them but now I can rest!

Glad you'll be able to rest! Take care of yourself and keep us posted.

I was heading to bed early, but I keep getting prank phone calls....caller id says it's from the Pines....dang camel.....
I got those, too! I didn't know it was Carl, though!

He kept asking if my refrigerator was running. Everytime I said yes, he told me I better hurry if I wanted to catch it.

That crazy camel.

Good Morning, my over-the-hump/downhill coast to the Weekend Friends.

Indeed, the worst is over and it's clear sailing to the Labor Day Weekend!
Wowee!!

Then, to the count immediately:
Days to the Season: 73
Days to Christmas Day: 115
Two weeks from tomorrow, we arrive at the 100-day mark to Christmas!
Closer - ever closer.

The crickets are singing outside my window as the thermometer stands at just under 65 degrees, a somewhat chilly start to September, but a welcomed change from the heat and humidity.

There were questions concerning the annual launch of the Christmas Blossoms thread.
It has become my tradition to post it when the "A Christmas To Remember" shop opens at Crabtree Valley Shopping center and I can get a photo to post as the launch vehicle.
That usually occurs around the last week in September.
If for some reason, the shop opens late (or heaven forbid, not at all!) I'll still plan to set up the thread no later than Sept 30, so it will definitely be this month!

Looks like we will be headed for the coast tomorrow afternoon.
I'll let you know for sure soon so a countdown volunteer can step forward.

You have a Thrilling Thursday, Everyone!

WAIT! I just thought of something! I wasn't a pity vote for MOM because I am one of the OLDEST, am I???
We shameless politicians have learned to accept ALL votes. Especially the pity vote!

Good morning, Christmas friends. It's off to work I go, so I will be quick. I can hardly believe it is September already. And would you look at that count? Less than 2,000 posts to reach our goal! You all are awesome! Have a great day!

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

Jacob and I finally got the last of that huge pecan limb out of the yard yesterday. They say pecan trees are self-pruning, meaning limbs break out regularly, but I wish they were self-cleaning, too. Dude, that was a lot of work!

I have to cut shrubs back, and cut the grass today. Jacob's birthday party is this weekend, and I have to work at the store Saturday, and bird hunting season starts Saturday, so it's a busy weekend!

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Hidy-ho neighborinos!
How's pinesday for All? Mine is great, celebrating mine and Aarons 1 year anniversary today:) I believe we're going out for dinner in a little bit to a place called The Clam bucket. Probably my favorite restaurant out of all the places I've been!

Happy Anniversary!

Good evening,

Long night at work, I was flying solo tonight so I was quite backed up with everything, but I left it how it needs to be for opening tomorrow. I drove to work listening to Bing Crosby Christmas music, it just felt right listening to it. "Bers" will be here in a little under an hour, I am starting to get so psyched for the season. We are having a Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday with all the fixins, I cannot wait to smell the turkey and everything else.

I must get to bed, 5:15 gets here too quickly, and who had the last apple fritter at the Pines tonight, I put that request in to Carl last week for it. cheesy

Have a great night friends!

Im so jealous! My whole Family is taking a road trip to have Thanksgiving Saturday at your house lol

Welcome to September... ahh finally my favorite time of the year! Its another beautiful morning here in Maryland..in the high 60's... will be in the mid 80's but with these cool nights and mornings Fall is surely in the air!

This weekend I will be finishing up on my Fall decorations! Anyone have any exciting plans for this Holiday weekend? We have 2 parties to go to BOTH on Sunday..it always works that way it seems. I think I will make a nice dinner on Monday especially after reading how Xmas365 is having a THANKSGIVING dinner Saturday!
