Good evening, Christmas family. We found out what is wrong with Ivy. The poor little thing has patellar luxation or subluxation i.e., her kneecap has slipped out of place !
The doc said to give her pain meds for a couple of weeks and see how she is. I don't think it is going to go that long. She is in pain and if there is surgery to correct it I want it NOW. I mean, we all know how it hurts us when anything happens to our kneecaps..........I guess this can be a common problem in older Chihuahuas.
Wish is going for an EKG which is no big deal, unless something bad shows up. I just hope there is something that is seen that is not too bad and then his meds can be switched.

Poor Ivy has been hopping through the house all day on three legs. I feel so bad for her and yes, If I could change places with her I would.
I included a couple of photos of my babies which I am sure you have already seen. The bottom one is Clancy (Rhodesian Ridgeback) with Wish (little black Dachshund/Min Pin mix) looking innocently out the window one Fall day when Wish was still young.......Yuo can click them to see them bigger if you want xo

More pallets today and tomorrow. so thats work and more work. guess i should not be complaining the way things are with a lot of jobs. but sometimes all i seen to do is work but i always have christmas to look forward to.

Good morning all! Wait...can it be? PINESDAY! Carl is making some bacon and eggs for us morning-ers. He is wearing an apron that says "Kiss the Cook". haha. He has some "special" tea and coffee blends as well. I'm going to try one in a moment.
Its another early work day today. Last one of the week and then its back to normal. Last night, instead of William wanting to take a stuffed animal to bed, he took a fake scoop of ice cream and a fake box of cookies from his play food set. LOL. I said noooo thats what Mommy takes to bed! haha. Then he gave them to me instead and informed me he was all done with them. LOL Kids! It was cool on the drive in this morning. It was 59F at 6:30am. Saturday I'm having some friends over for a movie night. We try to play a cheesy b movie and a good movie. So that should be fun. Well. Back to work I go. Have a good day and have fun at the pines!!!!!

Wednesday is here....Pines here we come!
Morning all! Nice, cool 52 degrees here. High of 72 today. Doesn't bother me one bit that mother nature skipped the low 90's, high 80's, and low 80's. Heck, we just went straight to the 70's! The ten day forecast doesn't show much of a change. I keep telling my wife, don't think for one second that hot weather can't come back....September and October can get pretty hot around here.

Yeah. We seemed to skip from 90's to 70's and 60's. I LOVE it. But yes. I think we will get some more warm days in September. Then a handful in October.
Ok... anyone want to tell the newbie what "Pinesday" is??? LOL I feel like I'm missing out on something cool! LOL
It has been ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL here in Georgia! THe weather just decided it was done with the three months of unrelenting mid 90s and just in one day dropped to the 70s.
I know we will have plenty of hot days still, but I am enjoying this break SO much. We got 5" of rain the other day, and I was at the bank yesterday and actually heard someone complaining about how we've had enough of the rain... I was like. "excuse me, but it hasn't rained here in FOREVER!!!" LOL Well, that's what I was thinking, I actually didn't say anything... I just smiled and walked back outside in the rain and enjoyed the feel of it on my face and smiled again.
Well, time to go make some sausage biscuits for breakfast.
