Hello Dear Christmas family !!

Getting mentally prepared for whatever doc may come my way as far as dictation today !! Work starts in 20 minutes. Tomorrow is my Friday, thank God.

Made, I hope you feel better !!! I HATE colds. I did post a question for Santa that I have always wondered about !!! Sure hope he can help me !!! :grin:

It's been a hectic morning, for sure. My mother-in-law is having back surgery as we speak, so the whole family is at the hospital. I was left to get all the family kids to school and run Bernie's store till the part time girls came in at 10:30. Then the health insurance company here at work sent nurses to collect blood samples this morning. If you didn't get your blood drawn, your insurance went up. So, after a bunch of running around, and two needle-sticks later, it's almost lunchtime. Whew.

Please remember Nancy's mom, Mrs. Hilda, with a prayer or a kind thought this morning.

Yes we are, I printed the book and read it. I gave it to my pastor who feel in love with it!!! Lately we have been thinking of mixing up the Christmas Pageant but something special. I suggested this book, the best part is that we came to a great decision the part of the Christmas Angel will be played by ALL the children in turn. This way everyone gets a chance to be the special Angel. We are working on the contents I will keep you updated actually tonight we have a planning meeting for it so I will let you know how it goes.

It's marvelous that "The Christmas Angel" will finally be presented to an audience! And what a great idea to divide the role of the Christmas Angel, since he introduces several separate stories. I'm just so happy that more people will get to know this story.
 
I'm running a little bit late but I'm on my way to the pines. Tell Carl to get some of that dayquil blend on for me!!!!!!!!

Good afternoon, everyone. I just got in from the local farmer's market after a stop at the Pines. I bought a rhubarb pie, some rolls, and two cookbooks from the Mennonite farmers. I also bought fresh tomatoes and fresh okra which I will fix to go with tonight's dinner. I have a very large rectangular electric frying pan that I make meatloaf in. I will add sweet corn and potatoes. The okra will go great with this. Yummo! Hey, Made, Carl tried to get me to taste the Nyquil blend, but I just had to say no! The fired twinkies were extra good tonight!! But then I bought pie afterwards! Oh well, two desserts will be okay, surely!! Have a great evening, everyone!

Good Pinesday evening, Christmas family!

I just watched a purple and orange sunset - absolutely stunning! Nice to see something so beautiful after the long and somewhat stressful afternoon I had.

It is a cool evening here - I think maybe I'll ask Carl for a chocolate blend coffee. Yummy!

Fun evening at the 'Pines ... I had a cinnamon stick in my hot tea, and a fresh Twinkling. The autumn decorations and the cooler weather really set the scene for the coming season! Hated to leave.
 
Good evening everyone! The weather is heading back up towards the 80s again, and according to weather.com it should be like that for the rest of September. :/ I was so looking forward to the fall weather beginning already!
I accidentally took a 3 hour nap today so I still have homework to do.. and I probably won't be able to fall asleep tonight haha.
