You and Christmasstar do sparklies well!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks. I love the ones Christmasstar does! I just google the images and find them. I just think it makes it look nicer!

And with this post, Sugar is poster #18,800. For her efforts, she wins a bouquet, just in case she doesn't catch one!

Haha - thanks. This is great prize because I can't catch the bouquet at the wedding since I married! :-D

I have never been there but I'll have to check it out the next time we come back. cheesy

You will! It is truly the best ice cream I've ever had. A lot of people agree, but then I think it just what you grow up on too. I am sure since you've been in the area, you've heard of Ritchey's Milk (I mean...maybe you have - haha). They have really good ice cream too. It's hand dipped. I like that a lot too and then like I said, like Meadows too. Ritchey's is in Martinsburg.

ahh I get so nostalgic(sp) at this time every year...have a great day everyone!

[proofreader] Spelling is correct! [/proofreader]

My tooth was bothering me some last night while I was trying to sleep. I never really have had a toothache in my life and this is not really that bad, just sort of an slight ache but it's enough to be bothersome!

Speaking from experience ... it's not how bad the pain is, but the fact that it just won't go away that makes it so bad. Also from experience, you may want to get your dentist to take a look at it now so it doesn't evolve into something even more painful.

Good morning everyone! I went out to dinner with some friends yesterday to celebrate my birthday, and tuesday I will be going out with my family. I'm also really looking forward to fall, it needs to come already!
Have a good day everybody!

Happy B-Day and may your celebrations be exactly what you want!!!

Good Afternoon MMC!

Already been to London and back to drop off more stuff at my daughters place. This afternoon my son and I are working at finishing off the rearrangement of rooms now that he gets to have the whole basement to himself!
Hope you all have a fantastic day!!!

Good Saturday evening, my Christmas friends!

I was outside all day, working in the yard, etc. Jacob and I just got back from bird hunting...another great day! I'm on my way out the door (after a looong shower) to eat at Nancy's parent's house. Mrs Hilda is doing a little better.

My mom is still in Hawaii, and she's loving it! The 6 hour time difference takes some getting used to, but I'm glad she's having a good time.

I hope y'all have a great Saturday evening! cheesy

Good evening, Christmas family.

Went out with my sister today to celebrate my birthday early. What a wonderful time we had together.

As tomorrow is September 11, I wanted to post something remembering all those who died and their families, all those brave men and women of the police and fire departments and of course, our wonderful troops and our country. God Bless The United States of America

We had a great homily at Mass tonight, honoring and remembering 9/11. We have the TV on right now watching the special of that infamous day and the wonderful outpouring of caring and love from everyone involved. I have to leave every so often because it is so hard to relieve that day.

Hello all...

I have good news and bad news...

The good news is that Travis and I made it home safely.

The bad news is that our house flooded with all the rain that came while we were on vacation. Our carpets and flooring is ruined, our house smells like...well, rain soaked everything, and most of my stuff that was down in the basement is ruined. Not only that, but my parents' house, where all the REST of my stuff was being stored, got 17 inches of water in the basement, so all of my stuff THERE is ruined as well. Looks like we've got a really crappy weekend ahead of us, going through everything and seeing what the damage really is.

The other bad news is that no place around here is selling fans (they all sold out while we were gone), so there's no way to get the smell out, or dry the flooring. We are at a true loss of what to do.

I've breezed through some posts and see that other people are going through some hard times as well, or friends or family members are...I truly hope that everyone comes out of their hard times as well as they can.

Take care, everyone. <3

Oh Dear I am very sorry to hear about your home & Belongings!!

I am laying here in bed with a toothache (and I don't even eat sweets, drink sweets, drink alcohol, smoke or any of that stuff) but I still have a toothache! I guess you can just get one anyway! It's not that bad but bad enough to take some Advil to kill the pain. I will be ok though! =)

While I am laying here I am watching Rick Steve's European Christmas.

I am getting sleepy so if I don't get back on here, have a goodnight everyone! Sweet dreams! :!!

Hope your teeth feel better soon!!!

OH my I am tiiiireeed... went to a Ke$ha & LMFAO concert last night in Vancouver.. and caught the first ferry home this morning.. sleeping in the truck was not the most comfortable thing.. probably got about 2 hours of sleep...looks like it will be an early night for me!!!

vsuclaribnl: I'm glad to read that the damage at your place wasn't as bad as you thought - I hope the same holds true for your parent's house. I will keep all of you in my prayers!

Thanks! The damage at my parents' is a bit worse, but it seems the things I was really concerned about keeping are salvageable. We do have to throw some things away, but luckily they're things that we just hadn't managed to throw away up til now. So I'm happy to say it's (nearly) all good. =)

Glad to hear you made it home safely, but so sorry to hear about the flooding. Hope you can get things taken care of fast. It has been raining so badly here as well, but thank goodness we really haven't got the flooding. My crick has held up, but others in my area haven't been as lucky. Saying prayers for you.

Thanks, Sugar! I hope you stay flood free!!!

Good Morning, MMC family! I am just sitting here in the hotel as my husband is getting ready for the wedding this am. I have to have him over for pictures around 11:45, which is about an hour. The church our friend is getting married in is beautiful. It is on top of Mt. Washington (in Pittsburgh) if anyone has ever been there. There is an amazing view from there. We're having a great time so far. It's only second time we've really got to go out without the kids since I've had my daughter, so that's been 4 years. So...we're having a good time to say the least! I wouldn't change anything about it though! Hope everyone continues to have a great weekened!

I hope you have a great time at the wedding! I noticed your location is from "Central PA"...I am also from central PA. Whereabouts are you located?

Oh Dear I am very sorry to hear about your home & Belongings!!

Thanks Britt! Luckily it seems that the damage wasn't as bad as first thought, so that's good! =)

Well, we have been home a couple of hours. Spectacular family day...awesome. More details tomorrow, but wanted to tell everyone goodnight.

Hi Christmas friends!

I am happy to say that this is the first day since we've been home that I haven't been completely stressed out. The basement is drying up nicely, everything that wasn't already in plastic bins now is, we've finally unpacked, and things are being cleaned up that hadn't been cleaned since we got home.

Then Penn State had to go and lose to 'Bama and it all went downhill (only half kidding, lol).

We were able to go hang out with friends we hadn't seen in over a month (and ask them both to be in our wedding!), watch the Michigan/Notre Dame game (yay for Michigan winning, even though I really don't care for either team, haha), and just sit and laugh for a while. Such a great, mostly relaxing day.

Tomorrow, we are going to a wedding for one of Travis' cousins...it doesn't start until 5 and probably will go until 11, and I have to go back to work Monday at 6am! Who knows how long we'll stay...never been to a Sunday wedding before!

I will also be thinking of everything that happened 10 years ago...can't believe it's been so long already. :(

Take care, everyone!
