I just found out that we have Friday off this week! The boss ordered new carpet to be installed Friday, and we all get a paid day off. Whee! The weather's supposed to be cooler too. I need to find a quick day trip destination!

How about Christmas shopping? cheesy

evening MMC!

hope you are all well...

going christmas shopping on thursday, planning on buying 1 present a week from now until december.

my little princess will be 2 next friday, time has just flown. i was sorting through her newborn baby clothes the other day and i'll admit it brought a tear to my eye, now i have a toddler with an attitude! cannot wait for this christmas with her, she is going to love it :D

I would be more worried with a toddler without an attitude...

update on my bronchitis.......over night i have also developed an sinus infection or inflamation or how it is called.....I am sure the antibiotics will cover it too and will be almost gone by tomorrow....if not....I will have to see the doctor again tomorrow....antibiotica should be actually helping after taking it for two days shouldnt it? so I am waiting til tomorrow and then if it is not better......go see the doctor again

Hope you feel better quickly.

Good evening,

Long day at work today, we went to Friendly's for dinner, it was yummy then went to Kmart to pick up some new jammies for the boys and then checked out the Halloween section, not much difference from last year, LC found the same interactive skeleton he loved last year and played it over & over & over... It will definitely not be a decoration we will be buying, had to take a peek in the future Christmas section, nothing yet. I am coming down with something and am feeling crappy. My late day tomorrow, I get to sleep an extra 1.5 hours in the morning.

Have a great night!

Your tomato recipe sounds divine!!!

Oooo. Great idea. A crockpot cookbook!! I should do that! I'm more of a Sandra Lee cook, so I bet I could do some good recipes!

Britt: Cheers on over 1000 posts! I am sorry I missed your post yesterday.

Have you ever roasted them with a sprinkle of sea salt and a drizzle of olive oil? They are so yummy that way and it is quick, easy and fairly mess-free!

Mondays are awesome!

I'll keep her in my prayers!

Yes!!!!!

Crock-pot cookbook?

I'm sorry - there is a better job waiting out there for you! Best of luck on your search! ((((Christmasstar))))

Yes, I do agree! Christmas music makes just about everything better!!!

Yay on the interview tomorrow - I'll keep praying for you!

Hubby and I were JUST talking about this. Lobster is my favorite, but shrimp is next after that!!! I am not sure if you know what green shrimp is, but when I was a freshman and sophomore in college in the South, I worked at a fish camp. That is a down home way of saying wonderful, wonderful wonderful non-commercialized seafood restaurant! I could eat the green shrimp every day. Unlike those who work in doughnut shops or bakeries, I NEVER got tired of it!!!

...In other "close to the season" news - Red Lobster has begun its Endless Shrimp promotion! I have taken full advantage of this for many years and plan to do it again this year. Last year, I can recall going at least three times. Each time, I had at least eight plates of shrimp. This time, I think I will attempt to break my previous record of 11. Come on, 14! It's a lot easier going after a nice, hard, and long workout.

Well, time to job search. Have a great Tuesday, everyone!

I am smiling right now. I have been through this four times. I feel your pain; at the same time: This, too, shall pass. My kiddos are now (or soon will be) 41, 37, 34, and 26.

I know what your going through. Elexis will be 2 on Thursday and she is the same way. I guess it's just this age, but it can be sooo stressful sometimes. It will get better though - I just keep telling myself that! :)

Now I am about to wet my pants!! Hilarious!

Good luck on the job search & I feel you on the endless food. When Montanas has their endless Rib promo on.. my boyfriend and I must have eaten a whole herd of cows.. poor things.. now I feel bad. haha

My Dear friend I hope you feel better!!!

Crazy! Shrimp is definitely my favourite! I was not entirely aware of "green shrimp." I am quite envious of your fortunes. That sounds like it would have been a delicious job!

Confession is good for the soul. Listen up: it's confession time!!! (Hey, I am Catholic!) Y'all know I am retiring. So today I call to make MANY doctors' appointments to get things in order before the big day. Soon I will post a "cool photo" of what will be. These are the appointments I made for TOMORROW:

#1 is an appointment to check out all those "things" that happen to old skin: blotches, red "things," and brown "things." They are going to be removed by the dermatologist tomorrow.

# 2: I have to check in on my bone density scan.

#3: I have to get something for my sinus infection. It is full-blown, with pain in the jaws, no smell (thus, no taste) and a horrible headache.

#4: An appointment with my eye doctor to get my eyelids lifted. It is starting to interfere with my vision.

Sorry to the guys on this forum, but TOO BAD!!!:

Then, later in the month/year, I have an appointment to get a "bladder tuck," plastic surgery to "lift" my face and get rid of the infamous "wattle," and surgery to take care of my varicose veins.

Do any of you have any other suggestions??? (I am SERIOUS!!!)

I am sure this is TMI!!!

Ms. Christmas you have such lovely hair don't rip it out, if I was a talented as CS & Sugar & Shelli I'd post a cool photo of something to rip but alas my skills on this are only so good.

So has anyone been watching Heartfelt Home with Valerie on QVC this evening? They seem to have a lot of really nice Fall or Harvest items tonight. But it looks like it is about over in the next 10 min left.

I have been. They had some really cool stuff this afternoon during her 2 hour show but it all sold out. I haven't seen as much during this show.

Yea I happend to miss the afternoon show. However QVC is like that sometimes when they do multiple spots through the day. I always keep my eye on the schedule every day and look for anything fall or Christmas and those are what i tend to catch.
