Happy sunday morning everyone!!!

A lovely cool morning here in yorkshire, the tree thats at the back of my house has started loosing it's leaves, makes me smile every morning when i open my curtains!!!

Can you believe we are in double digits to the big day!!

Going to catch up on the posts!

Have a great day everyone!!!!!

:sparkle:

Some years ago, someone on here mentioned how elated they were now that we are in the months that end in "Ber".

I just wanted to echo that sentiment as well. I am so glad for that fact and to see that we are in the double digits until the greatest holiday of them all. I cannot wait!!

good morning mmc. just here to mention that it is only 97 days til christmas

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!!! We are headed back up to 80 degrees today here in central Indy. My plan for today was to get up early and head to the apple orchard for some cider. I just saw on facebook that they have run out though. So I guess I have to wait a couple more days. So now I am off to the early church service and then it will be time for some football and racing. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Label me Nuts!! But I want to start decorating for Christmas!! .. like now hahaha:wiggy:
I'm nuts too! I want to decorate too!

...Hellooo...?
Anyone out there?!?!
I was sleeping when you posted this. =)

I am glad we always have the Cowboys game on at work! I would be bummed out working every Sunday and have to miss the game. The whole world seems to stop when it's on. We hardly get any customers during that time. It has always been that way even when I was working as a teen. The streets are dead during the game!

Wayne went and played golf yesterday with the guys from church. He enjoyed himself! I enjoyed the day just resting while he played golf! It was great, I needed it!

When he got home we went to Hobby Lobby, Cracker Barrel gift shop (did not eat there, just shopped) and Dollar Tree. We went to Cracker Barrel for fall and Halloween decorations and they already had Christmas stuff out! We bought a Santa ornament. At Dollar Tree we bought a Halloween decoration and a Thanksgiving one. They already had Christmas stuff out too. I saw some nice things at Hobby Lobby but didn't buy anything.

Is it just me or has Hobby Lobby gone way up on the prices of their Christmas trees? I bought a tree from them nearly 10 years ago and it's still in great shape! I know they run sales all the time but it always seemed that the price of their trees at full price were still good. They seemed really high now.

After looking at all the holiday goodies we went out to dinner. I wanted to come home and put up the Christmas Tree! =)

It was a great day! I hope you all enjoyed your day as well!

I've been a MMC Member for quite some time, but always a "reader" and not a poster. I'm not sure exactly what is motivating me to "take the plunge" but I feel like I already know many of you from reading your posts for years. I've always been a great lover of all things Christmas, at one time a loner in my thoughts until I ound this forum a few years ago and realized I wasn't the only yuletide nut out there - in fact we seem to be all over the world. Over the years my wife gave up resisting and began enjoying our families "stretched-out holiday season. For years, my family (wife and two girls) have gathered in front of the TV every Friday night at 7PM starting the first Friday in September (our unofficial start to the season) to watch a Christmas movie - in accordance with the official schedule posted on the refrigerator in mid-August. I've had to warn my girls that they might not want to tell their friends at school about our strange little tradition until they get a little older as they might not understand - my older daughter started high school last year and told her best friends how early her family starts celebrating Christmas and most of them thought it was great and were jealous. Last weekend we visited Rosemary Clooney's former house in Augusta, KY because they have a whole room dedicated to the movie White Christmas. Lots of original costumes and the feathers from the tune "Sister" that some of you might remember. Great Stuff! Anyway - thanks to all of you for feeding my Christmas cravings over the years - I feel like I'm coming out of the proverbial "Christmas closet".

Welcome to the Countdown, drexelius! I didn't know that you could visit RC's former home - how cool that there is a White Christmas room! You are so lucky you got to go there!

Good morning, Christmas family!

I hope this finds everyone well!

It is a gorgeous day out - chilly, but sunny. So far we have dodged the frost bullet here - the garden continues to produce beans and tomatoes. I think the pears are finally off of the tree, though. We had a very big crop this year - I was able to give some away :)

I am going to put Annie Lennox's Christmas CD on in a few minutes and decorate for fall. I just might sneak in a few Christmas decorations, too

Have a Super Merry Sunday!!!!!!!!!!

glad you have decided to post!

Hey friends! Hope this finds all doing well! Sitting on the deck feeling the nice breeze blow as we are at 67 degrees! Lovely!

Got a sick dog....waiting for the vet to open so we can get him in. Don't know what's wrong...yesterday, he was fine....last night, he had the shakes and today he is very uncomfortable. I'm sure everything will be ok. He's a big ol' tough one.

See everybody later...about to watch some NFL football coverage and cook supper....

Good Morning, Friends.

Let's head straight to the count, shall we?
Days to the Season: 56
Days to Christmas Day: 98
One week from today -- the 3/4 Milestone to Christmas Day!

Sunny but still damp here this morning in the capital city where we stand at just under 60 degrees for a somewhat chilly start for this time of the year.
Wow!
From an 89 degree high on Friday, we had 61 for the high yesterday!
(Today should be somewhere in between.)

Thanks, Brad, for educating Shelli as to our annual Christmas Blossoms thread.
I am really looking forward to starting it this year and hope the "A Christmas To Remember" shop opens before the end of the month!

May you all have a Super Sunday.
And may the NFL team of your choice prove victorious.
I have mixed feelings today. The Packers and the Panthers - my 2 favorite teams - play each other. Don't want to see either of them loose!
(Maybe I'll just watch something else.)

I can't wait until Christmas decor starts entering the stores around here.
