I have had a difficult time with my computer, so I finally hijacked Hubby's. I am thinking of all of you and realize that I owe some prizes that I will try to give out tomorrow. We are off school next week because of our 6-1 calendar.
All of you with furbabies are in my thoughts and prayers.
And to Made and Track, your loved ones are in my prayers also.
My shoulder surgery is scheduled for October 20, with several appointments during the week before.
I could not make the Pines yesterday, but the Jet Fuel from Carl arrived this morning!!

Exciting weather report in the UK today - this weekend we are going to experience the hottest October EVER!
Temps around 24 where I am in the North West upwards to 29 in the south! We haven't had weather like this all year!
And to follow it up snow is suppose to arrive towards the end of October!!!!!!!!! Strange weather but at least we can get out to the park a bit more before winter finally sets in.
90% of the way there now...............

Morning everyone. friday again another week almost over
Hope every thing is good with you
Weather is dull and think is gonna rain. nothing new there
Got 2 pallets of toys and nursury yesterday still have another 4
Put the nursury out and some away yesterday did not put the toys put but might put a few bits out today
Just kinda bliding my time to the last week in oct and then will start and put the christmas stuff out love that time of year
Befour that wood need to get it in and get it sorted must be about 15 pallets and there about 200 items on each on. so as you can imagine it hard work but i can bring up two at a time makes it a bit easier
One of the guys that works for me is more a person for buiding furniture think hes not looking forward to it, i dont bring in any furniture from now no wards takes up to much room. and i need all teh room i can get.
Any way most go and get dug in no rest for the wicked (as they say over there)
In the mean time you all have a good day and talk soon god bless

My Stepdaughter has moved away to the university and now we started to renovate the apartment and pack so we can move too in December

A correction from my post last night...apparently this is what I get for listening to DF and not doing research myself, lol. Apparently the Pirates aren't in the playoffs after all, so I will NOT be rooting for them in the postseason. =p I guess I will just root for the...hmm...I guess the Phillies? Or the Tigers? This is hard when I don't have anything invested in any of the teams! /sports rant
Hope everyone has a great Friday! I'm off to Kohl's, then a haircut/style appointment, then the bridal appointment! It should be a fun day as long as I can get all my work done!!

What an adventure yesterday. I got out of work early. My battery light had been going on, on my van. Its either the battery or alternator. I have been told that the alternator would be going soon. I called my mechanic. He said yes its going. Drive it directly to my place, unless you need gas because its just running off battery power now. I pull into the shell gas station. Put gas in. Van wouldn't start. Alternator died. So I pushed it around the corner (no no, nobody helped me push it!!). I was going to call my mechanic but I left the card on my table at home. So I got a phone book and found him. A to B towing came out and brought me there. He went to replace the alternator. Well....it was the larger one that's harder to get. Yay me. haha. So he FOUND one but it was going to be shipped from Toronto. No thanks. He found another one that had a lifetime warranty and was cheaper. Yes please. Had that all fixed and now its working like a charm! No more alternator noise as well. And I also saw lots of Christmas stuff at Canadian Tire! I posted pictures in the Christmas Blossoms page. Walmart didn't really have anything out but I could see skids of it. Well back to work I go! Hope everyone is ready for some WEEEEEEKEENNNDDD!!!!

Good morning everyone! I went back and forth all day yesterday and finally decided the fly out today to Tx to be with my family and sis...they are doing more tests at 1pm today and I spoke with her nurse overnight who said she did good overnight.Me and brandi had a long weekend anyway. I will check in here and there this weekend.
IT is actually very nice outside here today and Sunday night we will be down in the 40's! maybe that will promote some leaf change.Have a good last day of September and first weekend of October!

Hello everyone, I haven't been on much lately, so sorry if I missed any big news. Of course if there was anything real big, my wife would have told me. Well after squeezing in one more 100 degree day, and some really scary lightning last night, we are only going to be in the 80s!!! YAY!!!! That's fall temps in Texas, folks. :wink:
I forgot in all the commotion yesterday that the 29th was my one year anniversary here at mmc! What a year it has been too. Time is passing by very fast!!
YAY!! I am doing the same thing!!

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!!!! It is going to be a cool day here in central Indy with a high in the mid 50's!!!!! I love it. I have some work around the house to do today and then I might run to Hobby Lobby. I haven't been there in a couple of weeks and I'm starting to have withdraws. Our town's big Riley days festival is next weekend so I'm starting to get excited. That really signifies the start of the holiday season to me. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!
Unfortunately no, The guy that is supposed to replace me is pretty well trained, just a few things he needs to get down, but he is coming along nicely. My supervisor has requested that they wait 6 months before they move me, to make sure the new guy is gonna stay, I wanted to strangle her. But that doesn't mean they will do that, his 90 days is up in November, so I am hoping it will happen then. Thank you very much for asking.
