So I was reading the countdown last year and they had a "live countdown" like everyone was there, it is a great read... It's funny to read the stuff that was going on a year ago, and it is cool too...

Like last year around the countdown Bradmac picked up lamp displays for the town, I wonder how that worked out, it is so cool...

Daughter home from college for the weekend, wants me to cook her some real food (apparently, baloney sandwiches are getting boring!)

I forgot in all the commotion yesterday that the 29th was my one year anniversary here at mmc! What a year it has been too. Time is passing by very fast!!

Yeah, I remember you writing about that... What a humbug! You know I really lucked out big time! Tere are a few of them here each is assigned a few floors, the other guy who run a few of the floors above is is a well... %&^$#@! yeah that bad... No music and it always seems that his crew wants to be on our floors but they are above us and we always have to push them to stay on schedule because if they slow up we can't do our work... you know the deal - What a bummer though for you... Maybe you can hum some Christmas tunes really get her goat!!!!:lol:

Wow you go to a dumpster it is wild to learn how different areas live their normal days right, here I take my car to the train station, the train to NYC, and a subway to get downtown... I know it sounds like a lot but it really isn't as bad as it sounds. In your area do you get wild turkey's too???

Yes we have lots of wild turkey. I used to travel a lot in a previous job and have been to NYC several times. You are right that it is a different world than where I live.

That is way cool... Yeah, I don't mind working in NYC, I live on Long Island it is a little better... But having gone to Maine I feel like LI is just WAY over populated!!!! Ahhhh, I keep thinking where I was a week ago...

Brrr is right!!!! What kind of soup, ohhh I just love a good bowl of soup!!!

Spicy Cabbage Soup, (sausage, cabbage, celery, onion, grn pepper, spaghetti sauce, stewed tomatoes) & Cheesy cornbread & German Apple Cake to go with it!

It is SOOO windy here at the lake. Not sure where we are going to put everybody for soup tonight - too cold/windy to stand outside. Hmmmm

Had a 2 and a half hour flight to Amarillo Tx,and sat in the hospital waiting room for hours on end.but the good news is my sister is going to be alright... turns out when they put her under for her surgery they rammed the tube down her throat to intubate her too hard and it ruptured her esophagus. So I guess that is why they have you sign all kinds of crap before surgery...you know liability issues and such. Im just glad she is okay and off the ventilator. She will have to have her orginal surgery much later after her throat heals. Makes me wary about hospitals though I have to say. well have a good weekend,it's going to be chilly here tonight!

Ouch!!!! That doesn't sound like it's going to be fun to recover from. I hope she finds another doctor before the next surgery.
