I have been fretting about having a cavity for a few weeks now... been having pressure on my top teeth. Went in yesterday and no cavity! Just a sinus issue? Who knew! Explains the headaches, though! AND the dentist said I DO NOT have to get my wisdom teeth out! Yahoo! They've given me a hard time about it for... years (oops!) but 3 out of 4 of them grew in recently and they aren't an issue ,the dentist says!

HOORAY!!

A while ago I had to get my wisdom teeth out. Wasn't bad at all. They gassed me and then put the iv in so I didn't feel anything. But I'm glad you don't have to get them taken out too. That's easier on you!

Wednesday morning ... stuffy nose (feels like an allergy to something) and drowsy. I need some wake-up tea and concentration. Wonder if Carl has the reverse of Sleepytime Tea?

I was baking with the sound of Christmas music in the background. cheesy

I'm a believer in music with baking. You can't call 'em Christmas cookies unless you play Christmas music while you're making 'em!

party at the pines starts in a few hours.....

got a new hat....it's a coffee bean hat.....

Opera! The Magic Coffee Bean Hat!

Oy! So I will be Mia this week... As mon-fri I will be working 77.5 hours:(

So far I have completed 31 hrs of work... Only 46.5 left.. Cmon Saturday!!!!!

Holy cow! Do you get to eat and sleep this week, or just work??

Oh, how I wish I could stay at the Pines all day long....

I'll second that motion ...

Sinus issues are no picnic, but they're better than having your wisdom teeth out---glad that turned out well!

Think Christmassy thoughts! It will make the 46.5 go by faster! cheesy

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!! It's a beautiful morning here at the pines. Carl gave me a shot of his new blend when I arrived and I haven't been tired since. I've been trying to get him to tell me what's in it but he said it's a secret. I saw Binger rushing in with a paper bag as I was coming up the drive so I'm sure he had something to do with it. Wow, They are talking about 2 inches of snow an hour coming down in the mountains in California. Whose up for a road trip? I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahhh, snow! I'm in!

Good Pinesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I had an unusual Tuesday afternoon yesterday. Nancy takes our son to guitar lessons on Tuesday, and I take our daughter to dance lessons. Well, my daughter said she didn't feel good, & didn't want to go to dance, but I had some work to do on my side business, so she had to come with me. I brought our dog to keep her company in my truck while I worked.

I was setting up a temporary sign out just out of town. While I was working I heard some live music being played. After I finished, I followed the sound to a pasture. A band was setup practicing on a stage in the pasture. I finally figured out that Luke Bryan, a country singer, is doing a "Farm-Aid" type concert there tonight. He's not from here, but he went to college at Georgia Southern University, same as me and most others around here. Anyway, I thought that was pretty awesome!

Then Nancy called to say she was bringing home KFC for supper...I love that extra-crispy chicken!! We were planning to eat with her parents. When I finally got there, I found a house full of family and no chicken left!!! Oh, the humanity!!! I had to make a meal on green beans and mashed potatoes & gravy. Maybe next time.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Always doing it in style, eh, Binger?!

Okay the first 5 minutes are free!!!!!!!!!!!
Now that is an even better deal!

NO KFC LEFT?! Oh I would CRY! I love KFC. I'm sorry for your chicken loss hehe.

Good morning,

Just resting before the long arduous day begins at work. Listening to MCR2, it sounds beautiful. I couldn't find anything Christmassy on TV or On Demand that I wanted to watch, I only can watch A Hollywood Christmas so many times before I won't want to watch it during the season.

Enjoy the day!

Good morning, everyone!

It's Wednesday. Time for another wild one at the Pines. After all, it is the final visit at the Pines before the 90% Homestretch to the Christmas Season begins! How exciting!

It's a beautiful and sunny day here in Ottawa today. We are currently at a crisp 52F (11C), but the sun is shining and the Autumn air is plentiful. I like it. In fact, I think today is a perfect day to take out the Frisbees and throw at least 100 in preparation for this evening's possible final practice of the year and Regionals this weekend in Boston. My throws will need to be perfect.

Are there Christmas decorations in Ottawa?! I don't know yet. Kim and I keep getting delayed on our trip to the Rideau Centre. She is painting again today. However, she said she is free tomorrow before work tomorrow, so we will go then and scour the mall for Christmas decorations and displays. She seems pretty excited and, of course, I am extremely excited!

Well, I should get my day started with some breakfast. Have a great Wednesday, everyone! Only two more sleeps until the Homestretch and long weekends begin!

Interesting run in on the music, Brad. Very neat!

Sorry about the chicken. That is quite disappointing. I'm not a massive fan of KFC, but every now and again I have to fight of cravings for it. I can see how the green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy would not have cut it.

Hope you get a full meal tonight!

Hi all and good morning. Joe and I went up to see his mom yesterday and she was doing well. They took out all the tubes and said IF she felt up to it she could come home today. Do not know if that is in the works this morning but she may choose to stay up in Durham for another day, that might be a good thing to be honest.
My cold has gotten a bit worse, now I am all yucky in the sinus way. But taking stuff for it seems to be helping.

Bit cool here this morning and this peppermint mocha coffee is soooooo good. They are going to start carrying it year round here. I like it alot. I am also looking at ordering some eggnog gingerbread men in about a week. Those are so yummy but I wont be eating them this year, they are for all the gatherings we will be going to once the week prior to Thanksgiving gets here.
It is so hard to believe that the season is upon us and CHRISTMAS is so close.
Hope everyone has a great day.:notice:

They didn't save any KFC for you!!! Well, that would have put me in fits!!!
