feeling a little tired now....it is only 20 to 8pm but it was a hard working day today.....the mailing tour took around 4 hours.....driving around the city I guess 10miles or something like this......anyhow. i hope u guys are alright

So update on the TD job. I didn't get it. They said that everything was perfect but they wanted someone with more sales experience. I have been doing a sales job for a little over 2 years now. Sheesh. That's all I have to say about that. LOL. Try try again!

Good evening, Christmas Family!

The walk on the Rail Trail did me a world of good as my headache went away. Thank you to all the well-wishers! I bought a bunch of wooden crates at the thrift store - 5 of them are being used as a bookcase in my bedroom and the rest are being held for me until Saturday. I'm hoping to use them in the store for display.

It has been a long day - I need to unwind with a bit of reading. I also have to let Palmer run around the house and play! She is such a cutie.

Thanks, CAH~ She had a vet appt. over the weekend. Waiting on some blood test results, and need to take her back for a liver function test they messed up. But, she seems to be doing a little better with the probiotics! I'm hopeful!

Just about ready to pull out my apple cake it smells so wonderful in here right now. Made pork chops, cauliflower, and red cabbage for dinner. I just feel fall-ish!!! I have the church meeting tomorrow on the play - we are going to do a bake-ramage sale to raise some money. props are coming along but one of the ladies on costumes told me they need HELP. So maybe we can raise some much needed funds. I was thinking of making red velvet woopie pies.

Hey everyone! Just stopping by real quick to say hello! I had such a busy night at work last night. I got pulled to the Maternity side of the hospital at about 3:00 am - there were four girls in labor - 3 delivered for my shift and I still had a pt. in labor when I left. Plus - there were already pts. who had delivered and we take care of their babies too! Talk about busy. There were only 2 nurses over there working at the time, which is just nuts, so that is why they pulled me. We still had our hands full once I got there though! Needless to say, I never got a break or supper and I had 2 hours of overtime, so by the time I got to bed it was 11:00 am. I got 2 hours of sleep today! Thank goodness I am off the next two days, especially because my husband is night shift! Well, we take Ella to the vet tomorrow - wish me luck. Hope everyone had a great day!

Oy! So I will be Mia this week... As mon-fri I will be working 77.5 hours.

So far I have completed 31 hrs of work... Only 46.5 left.. Cmon Saturday!!!!!

Good Pinesday morning, Christmas family!

The sun is shining, Palmer is playing, Mouse is hiding and the rest of the fur kids seem to be plotting something - going to be an interesting work-at-home day today! I will be doing paperwork and glassware research - and when I take a break, I will be cleaning the house. Busy, busy day!

Sounds like a busy, but great day! Wonder what those fur kids are up to :smile:

I'm sitting at the shop, waiting on my car. Apparently the issue is relatively minor. Oddly the bar that I hit under the car by driving over a stump isn't even really necessary. Thank goodness!! It did cause me to break my exhaust mount though. Luckily they're just going to weld it back on. The ultra crappy part is that I cracked the transmission that I just had replaced a month ago. Luckily they said that the way it got cracked isn't that huge of a deal and isn't leaking so not to worry about replacing it. But the car is still on the lift so we will see how it all pans out ultimately.

Car repairs can be such a pain, and are usually unexpected. So glad it wasn't anything major!

Okay, I'm not big on scented lotions and soaps---but my co-worker was using a Christmas-scented hand lotion that was more subtle than bold, and I asked about it. Her mother makes it, along with Christmas-scented soap. It's scented with vanilla musk, balsam, pine, cinnamon, and cloves, and it's ... Christmassy!

They sound light, wonderful & Christmassy! Thanks for the info.

I am so disappointed.......Warner Brothers has announced that after December 29 of this year it is DISONTINUING any further new shipments of the Harry Potter film series !! For those who like the films, it is a tough pill to swallow. I have all of them but DVDs do not last forever. I guess if something happens to one of them I won't have it any more......This stinks !

Almost made it all the way through my shift with no problem last evening then I had two "regular" dictations that were not radilogy. The docs on those were in serious danger of inflicting Gooberrhea !!!!! Geesh ! But I made it through w/o being affected.

I did a big long post this morning and the site would not post it so I lost it.....Grrrrr I don't know happened but I have copied this one so I can paste it if that happens again.

Ho Ho Ho! My goodness I miss you guys! I hope to be back here regularly! Been so so busy. My Birthday is next week.. my last year in my 20's.. ugh trying not to think about it haha. I have lots ot catch up on but I would like to tell you a quick story. Made my Hubby clear out all of the Christmas gifts (in the basement closet) I have already purchased this year and it filled up 1/2 our basement. He was going crazy saying I have already bought too much lol. It was funny because Ive got some news for him.. I still have a lot more buying to do.. I love all those good baragins that come along right after Thanksgiving passes! Hope everyone is well!

Thanks to everyone for their kinds words and prayers. We just got home from the vet a short while ago. Ella does have a tumor, but it's a benign! Praise be to God! The vet aspirated it and he was able to tell. He said there is nothing to worry about with it right now, unless it gets too big, then he will remove it. Thanks everyone again!

Hi all and good morning. Joe and I went up to see his mom yesterday and she was doing well. They took out all the tubes and said IF she felt up to it she could come home today. Do not know if that is in the works this morning but she may choose to stay up in Durham for another day, that might be a good thing to be honest.
My cold has gotten a bit worse, now I am all yucky in the sinus way. But taking stuff for it seems to be helping.

Glad to hear your MIL is doing well and that she should come home soon! Hope you feel better soon!

Hi everyone! Hope you're all having a great day! My DH let me sleep in this am. I was up at 3:30 and 6:30 with the baby last night since he was at work and with only getting 2 hours of sleep the previous day, I was pretty tired. What a great husband I have. Well for the great news...Ella does have a tumor, but it's BENIGN! Thanks be to God! There is nothing we have to do about it, unless it keeps growing and then he will take it off for her. The vet said she will probably keep getting them the older she gets. At some point too, possibly, they could get malignant. Golden Retriever's are the #1 dogs for cancer, which I knew, but I still don't like hearing it. Oh well, for now, I am just glad she is doing okay! Hope you all have a great evening - I will back on later!
