Now, come on! You know we women are supposed to be able to do that!!!

...I have to make an announcement about operation Christmas child...I think, may have to wait till next week, will see what they have time for as I neglected to let them know ahead of time...but then I did not know myself until late in the week, so I could not tell them what I did not know could I.

Excellent idea!!! Hopefully, they like each other and won't fight over it!!!

...I'm somewhat tempted to buy my parents a kindle for the two of them, and preload it with a few books (some of the classics are available for free) - but not sure on it yet. I'd want to get some little bits to go with it too.

I dropped the Christmas music onto my iPod for the season now also.

I'm also very close to finalising my idea for these forums come Nov 13th...

You can't beat this time of year can you ?

Will you explain more? Some of these terms are new to me: follow spots, steward, and first pickup. This sounds like so much fun!!!

Good morning fellow Christmasites! (if I can use that kind of technical terminology at this time!) - In a top notch mood at the moment. Last night at work I got asked to go on follow spots (I work in a theatre, with a background in video/film production and theatre) and normally work as a steward, but last night I got to go on the technical team and man one of the spotlights (I even did the first pickup of the show!)

You can't beat this time of year can you ?

Good morning, Christmas friends, or in the words of DSR147, "Christmasites." It is so gorgeous here in northern California, one of my favorite times of the year. I have at least one more day of working on my classroom. I hope I can finish today. Then I can relax a little and not be so uptight about all the boxes. I hope y'all have a great day!

And with this post, Seawaters is poster #21,400. For her efforts, she wins a Wolf stove to be put into the soon-to-be newly-modeled kitchen!!!

(I had a picture of a Wolf stove, but somehow, it's gone now!!!)

Good morning everyone! The weather here has been weird lately... it's been around 80 degrees for the past few days yet the leaves have already began changing colors and falling off of trees!
I hope you all are doing well, I should be on all day.

I hit the jackpot. Right now, the neighborhood is doing a council clean up and I found a bag full of mint condition Christmas decorations. I am so happy that I found them. All new and fresh.

That is awesome! Congrats on your find.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!!! Well I'm going to be a bad boy and skip church this morning. I'm going to head back out to the fair instead. I need one last helping of fair food before the year is over. Then it will be back home to watch some football and racing. Today is going to be a good test for the Colts. They are playing the Chiefs and if they can't beat them I have no hope for the rest of the season. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I must be a REALLY bad girl......I never seem to make it to church like I should....!! xo

This sounds like you had a great time!!! Ditto to what you said about Monday's Thanksgiving! I am waiting for an invitation to visit SOMEONE who is celebrating on Monday!!! Any takers??? I am SO glad that Wish is doing better! I love all the pictures of Harlowe, Palmer (so, so, so cute) and all the other babies. When Lil' Dawg gets here, we will have to distinguish between furbabies and human babies!! CM3--I was spraying one of my T-shirts with a spray and wash product. My husband came up and said, "Hmm. Do you have goobers on your shirt?" I said, "No, that would be CM3." He gave me the funniest look!!! I wonder why?

LOL !!! Seawaters you are just too cute !!! I don't have goobers on my shirt but in my HEAD !!!....Eweeew Right ??? xo !!

Good morning Christmas family

What a wonderful weekend it has been !!

Friday we headed out early to run errands, went to Hobby Lobby and I got a tree topper for my QVC tree. It is so pretty !! That is an AMAZING place !! We were going to get a new tree there but the smallest they have was 7.5 feet - the biggest we can fit is a 7 footer so we passed. I did find a small polar bear plush which I HAD to "adopt" !!! We then went to Donzell's Garden Center (which is where Christmas open house is the first weekend in November) and we found a tree !!

I wanted a flocked one this year and found one on sale !! It is so pretty I cant wait to decorate it !!

Saturday was the Christmas Ornament Premiere at Hallmark and my sister and I went. We got the final ornaments we both wanted and even got each other a couple of special ones then we continued our "sister" outing. It was such a blast !! The old magic of becoming complete nuts when we are together returned. We laughed and laughed and it was priceless and the weather was just gorgeous !!!

Sounds like you had a great time, I am glad you and your sister became nuts together again.

I'm sure they won't. They're awesome parents. When Dad falls asleep in the armchair with it, Mum can take over haha!

Sure! Follow Spots are another way of saying spot lights, and basically you follow the action on stage (i.e. point it at someone) -- steward, I think the american term (or at least another term for it) is usher. I normally look after the audience as such, sell ice-creams, programmes, merch, rip tickets on the door, help with the clearing up at the end etc -- and finally first pickup is tech speak for the first spotlight cue. i.e. the first time a spotlight is required to be on somebody is called the first pickup. I got to do that last night! Go me!

I was at Yankee Candle yesterday... I wasn't liking any of their Christmas scents. :/ They all smelled funny to me! I need to smell the Maple Syrup Pancake one though... it sounds like it would smell good!
Have a good day!!

Gooooooood Morning!

I am hoping for a lazy day today, but with 2 demon children who woke us up at 5:30am it doesn't seem too likely. We went out last night to see almost all my wife's cousins who were home for a visit. It was a nice visit. Not much more planned for the day. Hmmmm, I wonder if anything Christmassy is on today, I'll have to check.

Have a great day!

So cute! I can just see your Mum doing that! Thanks for the explanations. I thought that's what it all meant, but sometimes school teachers over-analyze stuff. Plus, we use technical terms like "stuff." I like both Christmasites and Christmaslights. Great interchangeable terms!!!

I'm sure they won't. They're awesome parents. When Dad falls asleep in the armchair with it, Mum can take over haha!

Hi Snowangel !! I know what you mean about some of the scents! I guess my very favorite Christmas scent is Christmas cookie.....Christmas Eve is okay too but I have to be careful as some of their scents are so overpowering they trigger my asthma .......The Maple Pancakes Syrup or whatever it's called (It is HECK being senile!) is wonderful !!! xo

Made, what is Christmas Choice?

Music Choice is a service with some cable companies and it is all types of music channels.........One in particular, Sounds Of The Season, plays Christmas music 24/7 starting around November 1 !! xo

I can't wait either Xmas !!!! xo
