Ouch, they had a big lead at one time, didn't they.

They were up 17-0 at one point in the first half and then the secondary of the defense decided to go to sleep.

Dinner delivered to Philip's family. His brother had me crying again as he told me how much he missed me on the bus and how much fun it was when I was there. [I used to drive their bus, James was my passenger for about 5 years.]
Philip will be so missed by his brother, he and James did everything together.
The funeral is on Wednesday morning.
Thanks to all who are praying for this family.

good evening everyone!

in the north of england it's cool and dull and a little rainy, but that's fine by me! love the autumn.

i'm going to london for the day on thursday with my friend, we are going to check out harrod's christmas shop. i can't wait, a nice break away for the day is just what the doctor ordered!

i made a lovely dinner this evening; chicken & stuffing, rosemary and garlic roast potatoes, yorkshire puddings, broccoli, cauliflower cheese, baked leeks, cranberry sauce and gravy - very festive! :sparkle:

Evening all!

We're definiteley on the home run now!

We took the youngest (age 6) to a small farm today about 20 miles from our home town and bought three huge pumpkins in readiness for Hallowe'en - all the way home the topic was Christmas!

For example...

Which house the family would congregate in on Christmas Eve? (it's usually ours, although Mrs TSAH quite likes the idea of someone else preparing lots of food etc on 24th Dec this year!)

How it will be nice this year when Mrs TSAH doesnt have to work during the festive period as she has a new Job (I always book Christmas / New year off!)

I've also been creating this years Christmas CD for the cars tonight...last years are a little worn, and although they were still playing fine today they need re recording...

I'm getting VERY exitable now....

:wiggy:

OOOH Sox I love those kind of finds. congrats. I'm starting to get so excited about this season but I was wondering, every year I get so hyped up & plan the picture perfect Christmas ( to the best of my knowledge) & when it gets here, the meal is over too fast, the kids have other places to go, some family members don't show up, & everyone around me (hubby & men folk) want to watch football. Now I love football too but not on Christmas. Just yesterday my Mom told me she & my Daddy will be going to my sisters for Christmas. Due to our work hubby & I are going the weekend before Christmas so as we are coming back they will be going down. Bummer! Does anyone else have this issue?

Jets lost as I expected. That's 3 in a row. ****. 2-3 now. Oh well they still can battle and make the playoffs. We'll see.
Oy Sunday night. Anyone off for Columbus Day? I'm not...but I AM off Thursday. It is a little less depressing when I don't have a full 5 day work week as compared to when I do! It doesn't seem as impossible...that 1 day off does help.
Wow it is pitch black out now before 7 p.m. here. The season is COMING! I'll go to bed at 10 and start my Monday with some coffee of course. Everyone have a great evening and don't fear Monday!

It's getting a little late, I must get going to bed. A good family day here, it turned out to be quite a lazy day. Just leaves me a lot more work to do on Tuesday. Going to work in the AM, but it's time and a half, so it's not all bad.

Happy Thanksgiving to our Canadian friends! Since I won't be on until tomorrow night. I just want to be sure to say it before the big day. :carve:

Have a great night!

I do have the issue as to where I feel like my husband and I can't get to everywhere we need to because of our work schedules - it's frustrating, but we're used to it. I wish things would be easier, but that is what it is around the holidays!

Well, tomorrow is Monday...crap....

but 11 more Mondays until Christmas!!

Already I'm looking forward to our visit to the Pines already! How I wish it was Thanksgiving tomorrow!!

Friends who are celebrating....Happy Thanksgiving to you! Enjoy your time!

Well all...I am heading to bed here shortly. My kids head back to daycare tomorrow. They only go there two days a week - the two days that my husband works daylight shift - if it falls on the weekend that he is doing it, then we just pick two days that week, because regardless, we have to pay for 2 days a week. Anyway, I have to get up at 5:45 or 6 and help him take all the things needed at daycare (plus the kids) haha up there and then I can come back and sleep for a little while. I think I may try to start clean the house tomorrow - blah. Alright, I will talk to you all tomorrow! Happy Thanksgiving to everyone who is celebrating tomorrow!

Good Evening...
Just checkin' in to see how everyone is doing. I worked out in my yard this afternoon. I figured with the cold spells and snow in the mountains I better get a few things cleaned up and put away. I also mowed my lawn. I am thinking it will be the last time for the year. It won't be long and I'm sure we will have snow here in town. Rumor has it we are in for another bad winter lots of snow, drifts etc...like last year. Hope everyone is doing well. =)
