Hello everybody. I have got some great news. My school term is usually 10 weeks, but since I am in 10th grade, my exams are in 2 weeks and after that, we get a 7 week break, so we don't have to go to school. Gives me more time to visit relatives, spread Christmas joy around the house and do whatever I want before the actual school year ends. I can't wait.

Good morning! It's Monday. Yes, everyone loves Monday don't they? We are another week closer to the Christmas season. That's a great thing about Mondays. I had a question. Does anyone know if you can set something so that every time you post in a thread it'll bring you back to YOUR own last post so you can pick up reading from where you left off without searching?

Today is supposed to be the last real warm day here in southeastern NY. It's supposed to be in the low 80s with sunshine. I will enjoy it even though I'll be at work.

I've found this year that I have actually too many gifts on my list that I've worked on all year. Does anyone else find it hard to find things to buy or find they find too many ideas usually? How about this year in comparison to other years?

*sips coffee*...ahh that's a way to start a Monday.

I think I have decided to break out all my Christmas t-shirts on November 1 and wear them everyday from then until late January. I do wear them every once in a while now but I want to show them off for more time this year!

Unfortunately we are a house of sick people 3 out of 4 of the children have been ill this weekend. Thankfully it looks like a 24hour bug and they have all just started to return to normal again. After not eating all weekend they are now ready to eat thing and everything.

Sitting here with a new candle scent from Yankee candle----Maple syrup pancakes !! It SMELLS SO GOOD !! Plus I have an Apple Cider tart in the tart warmer.....both smells have melded together and I dont know why but It smells so much like Christmas to me !!!!

that sounds amazing! i don't believe they sell yankee candles here, but i usually do get scented candles from an other brand they don't have anything near 'maple syrup pancakes'

Wonderful walking weather here this morning where we started out at a pleasant for early October 59 degrees on the way to a predicted high of 77.
Last dry day, though. Rain is forecast starting tonight and running on through Thursday.
(Note to self -- get that outdoor work done TODAY!)

Good Canadian Thanksgiving Monday morning!

I am at work right now. Yup. I work today. Wonder if I should confuse all my American customers and wish them a happy Thanksgiving heh-heh. Went to apple land on Sunday. Ill post some pictures when I get home. We didn't get a pumpkin from there because they were too expensive. We can get them elsewhere for less. But it was fun! My Wife and Son have today off. When I get home a big turkey will be cooked for a good dinner tonight. Work is pretty dead right now. Forcing myself to stay here! Oh well. Time to get going. Back to work I go! Have a great Thanksgiving

Morning everyone! First time posting in this thread. Tried to sleep in dismorning as the kids are off school and the fire alarms woke me up ugh! Suppose to be in the 80s today here in Pa. Have half of my Christmas shopping done. Got the teachers gifts from Avon ordered over the weekend. Still no clue what to get a male teacher Got some monster high dolls over weekend for toys for tots. (anybody knw when that starts?) Went to my local spca yesterday to adopt a dog, hoping to find out today that we can bring our new buddy home! Have a great day everyone.:razz:

Wife's a little upset with me. I went out to do a few things before the coffee got ready and locked myself out of the house. She was not a happy camper when she had to get up. I'm going to need to work hard today to get out of that doghouse.....will be hard to do with NFL football on, but I know where my bread is buttered....
