It's really starting to feel like fall here... I love it!
Its really feeling like fall here too, been windy and a lot of leaves are coming down.
It has been a bad day here. 1st I got word that our friends Dad passed away. My hubby was at their house helping put on roof. He has been sick & this was not a surprise, but still sad. Less than an hour later I got a call saying that our friends 3 year old daughter was killed in a car accident. The parents (our friends) were out of town with her family celebrating her parents 50th wedding anniversary & the kids were with their cousin. Well of all people - an illegal immigrant whose drivers license has been revoked - pulled out infront of them, sending their 2 boys to Childrens hospital (but they are going to be ok) & killing their little sister. My heart is heavy tonight! We really do need to count our blessing every day & ENJOY every minute with our loved ones!
That is really tragic and sad
my prayers go out to those families. Absolutely heartbreaking
Hello my Christmas friends! I hope you all are well today.
It is a beautiful day here in Alabama. I plan on enjoying it fully. I still have to rest and take it easy...no stress. I have to admit I am loving it. I can tell my stomach ulcer is getting better. I'm not in as much pain. Those things can really hurt.

Just getting back from church and we went out for pizza and salad,I have not had pizza in a long time,I had to splurge! I have gotten in a bad habit of eating chiplotle mayo on everything! It was great on pizza! anyone else like chiplotle sause?
I like chipotle sauce, but I actually prefer tabasco sauce on my pizza

It has been a nice, relaxing weekend.
Harlowe & I have just been hanging out, watching movies, and going on evening walks with our friends next door. We are very luck to have great neighbors on one side of us that we can call friends. They have 4 dogs, and Harlowe is especially close to one named Petunia "Toony". She is a Chorkie (chihuahua-yorkie mix) & they have play dates at least a couple times a week. It's too cute!
It is still quite hot here, highs of 94 today.
Sounds like a very pleasant Sunday, Except the 94 degrees part! I can't imagine what its like to live somewhere where its 94 degrees in October
Good Sunday evening Christmas family!!had a nice relaxing day after the housework was done. everbody pitched in so it went like a breeze. i'm still learning all the different things on this site & i don't know how to friend anyone. if i did i would end up friending all of you. some have sent requests to me but i don't know how to do it myself. anyone got any pointers?

Another reason to be thankful. Rest in peace to Dan Wheldon, two-time Indy 500 winner. He past away this afternoon due to unsurvivable injuries in a crash at Las Vegas Speedway. I met Dan on one occasion and he was nothing but a tremendous and loving person. As a fan of open-wheel racing, the sport and world has lost a truly great human being today.
Rest in peace, Dan. You will be missed by your family, friends, fans, and the entire world. Thank you for the memories.
I am a racing fan too, I follow F1, LeMans, Nascar and Indy Car, I play a lot of racing games too like Forza, Need for Speed, etc. Dan Wheldon was one of my favorite Indy car drivers, so very tragic, the Las Vegas speedway was not a good place to have an Indy car race, just too fast and with 34 cars on a mile and half oval at those speeds .....Racing fans everywhere are mourning tonight, prayers go out to his family, team and all of his fans, such a loss
Good Sunday night! I am sitting on the couch eating provalone and roast beef sand.kind of dreading the week ahead. Work is going good but I can't wait to retire and not have to dread sunday nights! anyhow..things are getting very exciting around here...I can feel the baby kick now,and he does all the time. We go to the Dr tuesday and I am kind of worrying about what will say because she is having bad time with her feet swelling and her back has really been hurting too,We have 10 weeks left so it is the home strech!
Hope all goes well at the Doctors for her on Tuesday!
It being hot chocolate weather again, I just made up a batch of marshmallows. The homemade ones taste so good in hot chocolate!

Hi Christmas family! Hope you're all having a great Sunday and a wonderful end to your weekend. I haven't been feeling that well the past couple of days. I think I may be coming down with something, but I sure hope not. I've been trying to rest, but it's hard to do that. EA and DS are both sick, so it wouldn't surprise me if I got it from them or a patient at work. I go back to work tonight at 11. So...I am going to relax here for a little bit before getting ready for work.
Aww hope you not coming down with a cold, it seems to be going around a lot, always seems to happen to a lot of people when the weather starts turning colder. Hope you got some time to relax before work.
