Good morning, Christmas friends. I have LOTS of catching up to do and prizes to award!!! I have had so many appointments getting ready for my surgery on Thursday (Oct. 20), plus re-doing lesson plans, plus our anniversary (Oct. 17). And, my computer has slowed down to a crawl. It takes forever to go from one page to another. I will try to catch up ASAP. I just cannot skip any of the messages, so it may take me a while. In addition, I have had SEVERAL SSTs (Student Study Team meetings). I told our school nurse that I suspected one of my kidlets had a hearing problem, and sure enough, she found that to be true; so we have to meet again after she has seen a doctor. I love it when I am right!!! Gotta go. I have another SST in 20 minutes (yes, at 7:45 a.m.). I also had the nurse check her hearing, too. Have a great day, everyone, and I will get caught up soon.

It's good to have you back again! I hope the surgery goes well---please post an update when you can. I hope your computer's pokiness is only temporary. An award for you: a can of Digital Raid to eradicate the bugginess in your computer.

I don't think there's much happening today. After work i have to take my daughter to dance class, but that's about all. Maybe I'll actually do some work on the deck. I still have some electrical and plumbing work to do, and I have to put of the lattice.

It has been a nice, relaxing weekend.
Harlowe & I have just been hanging out, watching movies, and going on evening walks with our friends next door. We are very luck to have great neighbors on one side of us that we can call friends. They have 4 dogs, and Harlowe is especially close to one named Petunia "Toony". She is a Chorkie (chihuahua-yorkie mix) & they have play dates at least a couple times a week. It's too cute!

It is still quite hot here, highs of 94 today. I hear that Wednesday is supposed to bring in some cooler temperatures. Heck, I'll take 80's at this point
My fingers are crossed!

I forget that you are in NV, I love Red Rock Canyon, it is amazing, we heard Coyotes one night I was in awe of the beauty of those mountains. Good Sunday night! I am sitting on the couch eating provalone and roast beef sand.kind of dreading the week ahead. Work is going good but I can't wait to retire and not have to dread sunday nights! anyhow..things are getting very exciting around here...I can feel the baby kick now,and he does all the time. We go to the Dr tuesday and I am kind of worrying about what will say because she is having bad time with her feet swelling and her back has really been hurting too,We have 10 weeks left so it is the home strech! I think I may be coming down with something, but I sure hope not. I've been trying to rest, but it's hard to do that. EA and DS are both sick, so it wouldn't surprise me if I got it from them or a patient at work. I go back to work tonight at 11. So...I am going to relax here for a little bit before getting ready for work.

Was this christmas tree . in a tub looked round with lights
Put batterys in and away it went it started to sing and lights flashing and every 5 or seconds it got bigger and bigger just kept growing
It really was so different. when the song is over its goes back to the size it was in a ball.. you can turn a button to keep it big
Think the presure is on me a bit to get the christmas decor out, as i was told today that 2 other shops have there,s out.( even my partner is on my case. and he never usual says a word)
Think its the extra work thats annoying me as it wood have to be done when the shop is shut in the evening and being truthful when i get though a day with pallets the last thing i want is to do another 3 hours. As its just not putting it out. its getting electric extention leads. doing the wall with christmas scene setter. and then getting all in and then sorting all out and displaying one of everything ...

I hope You guys are doing good.....didnt sleep last night, because I caught a cold and have a sore throat....I started to drink tea that helps against bronchitis and cauhgin, used nose spray and my inhaler.....so far overnight it hasnt become worse, so I think I will be alright....I cant be away from work again....so I will try to work it out like this...and maybe go to the doctor so he can advise some meds to take

I have had it at my job, I am so frustrated with what is going on, I need to find something new. I won't go into it to deep here, but I am so done with the politics of the place. Day off tomorrow, well timed I guess, but I have 101 errands to do, including picking up some Christmas presents for my sweet boys. Watching DWTS it's 80's night, makes me remember how much I hated the 80's, especially the music, even though I grew up in that decade. I have always been an odd duck with my taste of music.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!! It's going to be a cool rainy one here in central Indy. It looks like we are going to hover right around 50 degrees for the rest of the week. I don't know what I'm going to do today. I was hoping to get some work done on my truck but it looks like the rain is going to stick around most of the day. Going to take my costume (Ash from Evil Dead) out and de-wrinkle it. Wearing it at the end of the month for my Halloween party and wearing it to work on Halloween since we can. Always fun to do that. Makes me feel like a little kid again! Well better get back to work! Have a great day all!

daughter goes to neurologist today for results on her MRI & blood work. i have faith that there's nothing wrong. i'm praying & hoping it will be migraines she inherited from me, grandma, & great grandma. don't mean i pray something bad is wrong, just do not want it to be worse, i can treat migraines w/ meds & the dr. says she could grow out of them.
please remember my baby girl in your prayers. she's 15 but she's still my baby!

Good early afternoon all! I am counting down the last 2 hours of the work day. And it just now has started to rain! Hopefully for the rest of the day,that is the forecast anyways. My phone will not STOP ringing!Grrr anyways I am taking brandi to the Dr after work today and he will address whether or not to put her on bedrest for the last 10 weeks of the pregnancy,and I just hope that if he does that she will not go crazy...she loves teaching and I think she would have a really hard time. Maybe he will just tell her to put her feet up during class or something..although she has been and she is still having problems. Oh well we will see...have a great afternoon everyone! and I hope everyone who needs this rain is getting some!

Good afternoon,

Just sitting here listening to Christmas music, checking the posts and finishing lunch. I did about 93.7% of my errands today, just needed to sit for a bit. I had to drive all the way out to Springfield to find the toy we got for LC for Christmas, I haven't seen the hot toy list for 2011, but it was the last one there, and a few other stores I looked at were sold out already, but I GOT ONE! It's the Power Bots: Prime Fire Station from Playskool, it's basically Transformers stuff made especially for little guys. Optimus Prime is LC's biggest hero, so I had to make sure we got it. I also bought some 16 function mini lights.
While I was out, I decided to look at every store for Christmas decorations, Home Depot was all decked out, Kmart had there trees stacked in the middle of the Halloween section, so they are finally starting, Walmart was working on theirs when I was shopping. I no longer look like a Chia Pet, I finally got my haircut I have been putting off for weeks, my head feels about 3lbs lighter with all that excess hair gone. cheesy

I had some weirdness when I first logged on this morning (every time I clicked a link, it wanted me to log in again), and I was beginning to get upset by thinking that I might not be able to "visit" today due to technical difficulties. I just remembered I have to give my bulldog a bath today when I get home..he weights 125 pounds and HATES baths...we have to do it outside of course..I only give him about 3 to 4 baths a year,but I he never stinks..but he does need one before winter comes since we do it with a water hose..he will hate me today but will get over it!hehe

I have a Golden, she loves the bath, the oce, a pond, a river, lake, or puddle... Turn on the hose and I kid you not she get so frightened her legs tremble, I have no idea why?!?! So, she takes bubble baths!!! Tee Hee... Oh, she like the shower too!!!

I MADE IT! I'M 50!

There! Now that I have that out of my system, I can tell you about the advantages of having a 50th birthday;
1) Cake for breakfast
2) Some places still start with the Senior discounts when you're 50.
3) Going out to dinner.
4) Getting flowers from your Sister.

I'm enjoying myself hugely here at work, walking around in a shirt with a big Jack-O-Lantern on it that says "This is what 50 looks like". The patients think it's pretty funny. I think I'll wear it out to dinner- We're going to Baugher's Farm restaurant, and then we'll have a look at their flower and produce stand. It's such a lovely day for a ride, too. I can't wait to get off work so we can get started!
