helloe everyone! no trick or treaters here tonight. we live pretty far from the street so i don't even think they know there's a house back here.
ended up hubby & our daughter went & bought a new dryer. we figured it was 10 years old & hubby said once one it tears up, there's always something else. gotta killer deal.... was 399 then on sale for $359 & then hubby found a dent on the side towards the back & we got it for $300!! woo-hoo i needed that!
bradmac -i'm so glad you & your family had a wonderful time in the mountains. you deserve it!
brent- i've seen one commercial for Christmas so far but it was candles. don't think i've ever seen one for pringles though.

Has anyone heard about the Jetblue flight that was stranded on the runway for 7 hours At Bradley airport in CT? I tell you what I fly alot and I dread stuff like that happening to me...The toilets were non functional...they would have to haul my A&# to jail im sure because I would flip out if I was trapped on a plane without fresh air...they are talking about it on the News now. I feel sorry for those poor passengers!! I am about to finish handing out candy and then go to bed and try to have a better nights sleep than last night! Talk to you all in November!!!

I have seen quite a few Christmas commercials on today and loving it!

I need some advice.

A couple of times this month (most recently was last Thursday) I would seethis white Cadillac drive down a popular street. What made it stand out was the fact that the driver was wearing one of those Jason Ski masks and dark top! It scared the crap out of me both times!

Advice part? Should I call the police and tell them what I saw? I'm 95% sure I have the correct license plate tag because last Thursday I made sure to take a good look at it. I don't know if I should report what I saw or what? :-(

If it makes you feel uneasy, as Christmasstar suggested, call the non emergency number to the police department. Make sure you tell them it has been several times you seen them or they might just write it off as a person going to a Halloween party over the weekend. Seems odd it was several times in a month.

I use to be part of a watch group with the police department and learned not to hesitate if I see something suspicious and report it. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Only four trick-or-treaters tonight, all in one bunch ... they each got two handfuls of candy, and as usual, there's way too much left. Who wants a couple bowlfuls of Halloween candy?

I get a lot of trick or treaters every year but I am like you, so very tired! I might have to shut it down early. I have the outside all decorated with scary music going and just too tired to enjoy it. That's a first for me. We still have a little over an hour to go. I have been getting cars full of people pull up to get candy. I tend to have more decorations in front of my house than the rest of the neighborhood and it draws attention I guess.

I am ready to crank up the Christmas music too!

Getting back to passing out candy! :boo:

It's true they can't just go searching for this person if nothing has happened but I hope they at least took down the license plate number to be on the watch for "just in case".

I just got back from handing candy out at my sisters house. She had 115 kids before we finally turned the light off at 8:30. Now I'm going to kick back and watch some of the Ghost Hunters live investigation on SyFy.

just finished mixing up a batch of gingerbread dough that now needs to rest in the fridge overnight, then in the morning I will start to bake the floors and walls of my gingerbread house for the competition at the end of November.
My house will be 3 stories high, and the theme is tropical Christmas.

What a weekend!!! No snow by me all rain, what a blessing really, the snow was so heavy it did so much damage. This is the !St Halloween I worked in years, but my boss called and really needed me, well really need all hansds, we did secure the site, but with all the wind, we knew the damage would be bad. We did a lot of clean up and inventory of damaged supplies. I am trying to read through the post but don't think I will be able to finish, I'll be going in early tomorrow & just might need to stay late again, well see. Hope all those in the path of the storm are well, and all the rest are OK too. We did get to go to a Halloween party on sat night even with the storm, at ! !St we almost didn't go but I am so glad we did, it was so much fun. We didn't win for our costumes and that is OK, the winner was really cool, I mean it to, she was an ice cudbe, doesn't sound so cool but it really was she made it and it was sparkly and simmered, it was really a clever idea!!! Trying to watch Sleepy Hallow but don't think I am going to make it. Good night all, stay well.

Good evening, Christmas family

I just wanted to stop by and say hello real quick. My job swtiched my hours, only by one hour, but I am so tired. I will be working from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Mon thru Thurs and 1-9 on Sundays. At least it gets me done with work sooner. They are letting me do radiology again but they adjusted it so you can't make as much money as I was making at first. Oh well..still better than goobers !!!

Made, we had so many at Mom's house, she was out of candy at 7:15 (bought big bags). But usually when it's my turn, I give kids quite a bit! They love it when ol' Ballcoach is giving candy. My Mom and Wifey only give like one piece.
