We just got back from visiting my cousin. The diagnosis was very quick. She has heart problems and her heart even stopped for a short time last night. Today they will be putting in a pacemaker.

I am glad they diagnosed it quickly. I am so use to doctors running tons of test for several weeks before they know what's going on and sometimes they still don't know what's wrong.

I find it sad, she is not even 50, close but not there yet and already having these problems. At least she can recover and move on!

Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. Keep them coming for the recovery process!

I am very sorry to hear about your cousin. I'll keep her in my thoughts

FWIW, the same thing happened to me at 48--now I'm 53 and thanks to my pacemaker, I have a full and normal life. I'm even training for a 5K run! I hope the same for your cousin! (Well, maybe not the 5K....but definitely the full and normal life!) :-D

My cousin's surgery went very well. I am relieved it's over! Now it's time to set up some Christmas decorations. So far 2 table top trees are set up!

Have fun at the party and be careful out on the roads!!!!!!!!!

hi sugar you enjoy your halloween party as well. have a good night

your weekend sounds amazing, hope the rest of your weekend was great as well

Thanks everyone! We had a blast! It was nice to get out with some friends!

My dad should arrive in a matter of minutes. It is just under a nine hour drive from the Sault to Ottawa, so I'm saying that he will be here by 4:15. Upon his arrival, we will be heading for some Endless Shrimp, which will be followed by an evening of watching hockey and hanging out.

Hope you had a nice visit with your dad!

We're baaaaaack!

Snow-in-Texas and I have been away on vacation for 2 1/2 weeks.

We missed you CAH and SIT! Sounds like you guys had a wonderful time! Glad to have you guys back!

Sugar - Thinking of your Ella! xo

Thanks CM3! Always thinking of you and your furbabies as well!

Guess we will also be watching to see if it snows more...hopefully we are close to done. MerryCarey, xmas365, sugar and anyone else who is directly affected by this along with me - please stay safe and check in often! Stay safe and warm, everyone and enjoy your night! <3

Thanks of thinking of me, V! Hope you enjoyed watching the games and the snow fall as well, but stayed safe! The PSU game was awesome, but so nerve racking and stressful! Made me almost sick to watch!

Hi every one!
How do you like my new signature picture?

Love it! Very nice!

My mother just called and my cousin is in the hospital. She had been passing out for a couple of days, they ran test on her in the ER and couldn't find what was wrong so they admitted her. She passed out at the hospital last night while she was there. We are going to visit her today. I sure hope they find out what's wrong.

Prayers and thoughts are appreciated!

I hope xmas365 is ok!

I just read about your cousin getting a pacemaker - I'll keep her in my prayers!

We did not have as many kids as last year trick or treating as well. I don't know why but I am left with tons of candy... I think I will bag it up and bring it to work with me tomorrow. I hope today passes by as quick as poosible, don't know if it's allergies or Im coming down with something but since sunday I have not felt up to par, No definate symptoms just feel lousy in general. If this is what middle age feels like Im doomed! I had my flu shot when I was in the Hospital in sept. so I think it is just the fall allergies I have really bad down here this time of year.

Hope you are better soon, Dawg!

Good morning everyone!
It's NOVEMBER!!! Which means our radio station is now the Holiday Lite! (I was a bit TOO excited when I saw that on their website). It also means the stores will start having more Thanksgiving/Christmas decorations, and the Food Network should start showing their Thanksgiving episodes soon too.
I love November and December way too much! Haha

Also, Louie seems to be completely back to normal now!! I am so thankful for his recovery and for all of your thoughts/wishes/prayers sent our way. It means the world to me!

HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY EVERYONE!

Excellent news! I am so happy that Louie is back to normal, snowangel_x3!!!

Hi everyone, Happy belated Halloween and Happy November 1st! Sorry I have been MIA again UGH! Been so busy at work and tomorrow is my surgery. I woke up with a cold this morning, not feeling too bad mainly just a stuffy nose.. already spoke to my doctor but now even more nervous about my surgery and getting put to sleep while I have a cold..just looking forward to watching the Christmas music on music choice "sounds of the season" when I get home. 23 days until US Thanksgiving =0). Going to try to catch up on some posts!

Good afternoon, MMC, and a very Happy November 1st!!!!!!!

I hope this finds everyone, including the fur babies, well/better and safe!

Lovely day in mid-Michigan! I should get out and get a walk in, but I have no energy. Went to the store and put out four boxes of stock, straightened a bit and picked up the monthly check, which I then forgot to cash. Oh, well, that just means I have to go to Frankenmuth again this week - Bronners, here I come!

I bought a baby gate to keep Palmer and Mouse separated. Palmer wants to be friends and play, but Mouse wants to be left alone. I was keeping Palmer in the bathroom (with polar fleece blankets and a cat bed to sleep in), but we have been using the heater and not the furnace and so the bathroom was getting cold when I shut the door. I put the gate up in the bathroom doorway and the heater faces it, so that should solve that problem.

Have a MERRY evening!!!!!!!!!!

WOO!
I don't know what has hit me today.. but I have Christmas cheer flying out my REAR!8-)

perhaps I will write out Christmas Cards today:)

I'm proud of myself, because I got a lot accomplished today! I got all of the Halloween decorations and props that were in the yard put away (it's quite a lot), then I took my dog to visit my Mom, then we had lunch, and THEN.....(TA-DA)
While I had my step-chair out, I put the lights and garland on the front porch (I put the corn shocks back up over them), then I thought I'd do one more thing and put the big Nativity out...then the lights at the bottom of the yard....wheee! Now that Halloween is out of the way, I can get going on Christmas!

I'm glad you got a quick answer. Pacemakers are tried and true technology; she should do very well.

Hello Christmas Pals,

Seems like everyone is really into the spirit now that Halloween is over. One of my co-workers told me today she decided to put up her tree before Thanksgiving weekend. That way her long thanksgiving holiday/weekend can be more relaxing and she will enjoy the Christmas season more. I think my Christmas Spirit of the season is starting to rub off on some people. They are realizing that deep down they really want to enjoy the SEASON of CHRISTMAS more than just focusing on Christmas being just a DAY Long. Well if I can convert one person over to our side of enjoying the season and not just a day, I will be happy. Well in 11 days my tree goes up and I can hardly wait.

Have a Merry Evening everyone.

Good evening all,
