I understand completly. Last year I flew out of Tallahassee but still had to change planes in enternal hell and torment that is Atlanta. Valdosta and tallahassee are completle ripoffs as far as plane fairs go... If you can try flights out of Orlando,or especially Jacksonville. Maybe someone can give you a lift?? Just a thought because I have been is your situation before!! I hope it works out for you!

Thanks Dawg! :))

Update on horrific day I am having.....this is almost comical, but I found out my dog snowball has been sick all over the house today!!! now the trick will be cleaning it up without throwing up myself... Now I am worried about him..Just thought I would share this with everyone!:) I hope everyone out there is having a good hump day!

awww poor snowball! My family dog, Mugsy, got sick recently and my parents almost had to put him down. Thankfully, he started to feel (and get) better! :-(

Are you a recipient or a donor? I hope I don't sound like I'm prying, but transplanting is an interest of mine, too. I gave my brother a kidney in 2005.

Brad,

I hope you're sitting down when you read this (b/c most people go into shock) but I received a heart/double lung transplant 15 years ago (June 14, 1996) when I was 16 years old. To make a long story short, yes I was born with a bazillion health problems (premee + under developed lungs + inoperable holes in my heart = transplantation as a teen) and I've only experienced one bout of rejection. It was in 2006, chronic, and it was in my lungs. But yours truly fought back and I've been able to keep it at bay for 5.5 years.

Oh, and I don't know who my donor is but I have written to the family twice, to no avail. Ah well. Sucks but what can you do?

And AWESOME at the kidney donation! You're someone we recipients admire! I hope your brother is doing well. Maybe I'll see you both at next year's games! (Message me if you want more info!)

It amazes me that no one has correctly aswered this question for Cetacea.
Thanksgiving in the US is always the 4th Thursday in November. No exceptions.
(It has been that fixed date since 1941.)

You know I have never even once considered how they determine when thanksgiving is in the US I just knew it was always the end of the month! tis a shame I suppose.....once again you reign supreme with the dates and countdowns.

I said the end of the month too. We were close, it's somewhere near the end on a Thursday.

Crown does reign supreme with the dates and countdowns! cheesy

I hope snowball is doing better now!!!!!

I'm off to the Pines!!!!!!! I can't wait to see what the ornament looks like.

Well so much for that 24 hour repair time on my laptop. I just got a email saying they have received it and the estimated repair date is 11/14. That's 12 days later. Someone needs to talk to their customer service reps. That's a big difference and I'm going to go crazy without my laptop for that long.

I am debating whether or not to go ahead and call it a day! I am so ready for a new day...I always feel like I am leaving the party early here because I go to bed so early, but I get up at 4 am so I need my 8 hours! I hope everyone has fun at the pines and I may come along later if I can't sleep!

I went a few weeks without mine while they repaired it. Not fun at all! Hopefully they will repair yours sooner!

Good evening!

I hope everyone is well and safe!

Long day today, I'm so glad it is almost over! I thought I adopted a kitten, but turns out it was Houdini in disguise. Wow - she is quite the mischief maker! I was gone all day and Palmer was safely behind her gate, slumbering in her bed when I left. She not only got out/over the baby gate, but she lost the DVD player remote and knocked over quite a few things, too. Knocking over things was expected, but I haven't a clue what she was doing with the remote or how she got it in the first place. It took two people over a half hour to find the darn thing

I'm going to chill at the Pines for a bit and catch up on the Countdown tomorrow morning while I have my coffee.

Have a MERRY evening!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll be up to the 'Pines a little later ... doing some holiday work while I have the computer to myself.

What a day! I just went out to my car and someone broke into it and slide the electric seat all the way up to the underneath the steering wheel and ripped out and controls so I can't even get into it because I am so tall. I don't even think brandi could get into it and she's 4 '11!! because its all the way up to the controls! guess I have to call the cops!

Dawg, you are truly having the Wednesday From Hell. Tomorrow HAS to be a better day! What a stupid and pointless thing for someone to do to your car. I can't understand what sort of pleasure anyone can get from such vandalism. I hope poor Snowball is feeling better soon ... and you, too.

Has anyone seen any more Christmas commercials? I've seen a few more, and am loving it! 'Tis The Season!!

I have!!! I just told my hubby last night that every commercial break (almost) there has been a Christmas commercial! LOVE IT!

:notice:
That's me - bells ringing - as I arrive at the Pines!!! Better late than never!!

It's been "one of them days" where I couldn't get on here today! We winterized our trailer at the lake tonight! Boo hoo! So we went out for a beer & pizza with my sis/bil/nephew after to help ease the pain. Ha ha!

Dawg - hope your day/night got better!!!

Kimothy - that is an amazing story! I'm glad that you are doing so well & you can be here with us! You go girl!

Hope you are all having a great day!!

Good night everyone! see you all bright and early in the morning! I hope everyone has a good nights sleep!

Wow, I had no idea! You really ARE a fighter! Bless your heart!

Yes, my brother is doing fine so far. Aside from fearing an 8 hour surgery, I didn't think for an instant about not helping him. That's what big brothers are for.

Plus, mama said she would bake me her famous chocolate cake if I did it.
...
Just kidding, of course!
...
...
It was a caramel cake.

I saw THREE Christmas commercial back-to-back last night! I LIKE it! :???:

I slept 11 hours last night!!! Wow, I am still trying to rest up from our "vacation" ha ha! Why is it we are suppose to relax on our vacation but end up coming home exhausted?! It didn't help much that I got a little stressed over what happened to my cousin with her heart. I am relieved now that she has a pacemaker and can lead a normal life.

Coach, what is going on with our Cowboys??? I hope they can win the next game and especially on Thanksgiving Day!

Xmas365, I hope you are ok! You and your family have had a rough year of bad weather.

I don't think you want me to comment about that on this board. I have to much respect. It would be a really ugly couple of sentences.
