hey guys! how's everyone? wooohooo so glad it's friday!
just had supper & caught up on the thread. ok, am i understanding this right, ya'll are saying the hallmark channel has open house this weekend & it's Christmas movies all weekend? please someone reply quickly...i'd love to see some Christmas, i need a fix!
daughter has her friends here & right now they're in the bathroom coloring each others hair. oh my, i just realized THEY'RE COLORING EACH OTHERS HAIR!!!! EEEEK. HOLD ON I GOTTA GO SEE WHAT EXACTLY IS GOING ON. moments pause.
ok, whew. that was scary for a minute, it's all good.i think they actually know what they're doing. daughter's going w/ the same color she has on already so i shouldn't end up being shocked. (hopefully)
my son, his fiance, hubby, & i are in the living room. they are watching criminal minds reruns on A&E. man that can be a very sick twisted show. i'm kind'a watching but eeww it gets so creepy i have to turn away.
gotta good bit planned for tomorrow to get done around the house.. good night everyone!

There's not really anything new going on here. I still feel really crappy, worse actually. It hurts when I take a deep breath. My lungs actually burn and are painful.

OK, busy day just wanted to pop in real quick, I will stop by latter tonight, no hiking trip planned this weekend, I am a little bummed by that, the weather is perfect, but I am doing something FUN, FUN, FUN!!! What you may ask?!?!?! PUTTING UP MY OUTSIDE LIGHTS!!!! YAY!!!!!! TTYL

My outside lights usually go up the weekend before Thanksgiving. Maybe I should copy you and put mine up sooner!!! =)

It has been a beautiful day today,,perfect for getting into the Holiday spirit.at 8 pm Open house starts playing the movies on Hallmark...who else is going to watch all weekend?

That is exactly what we are saying!! it starts at 8pm tonight and goes through sunday night. they are calling it holiday open house...and then next sat.(12th) they are going all christmas until jan 2!!

It was 15c here today, that is about 59f for you.

The nights are getting quite chilly, but we have been blessed with wonderfully beautiful fall days. The sunset was amazing!

man I use to love that show..but it wore very thin after a while, calling the perp "unsubs" and talking like they were reading straight from the script...I mean seriously I can act better than them..IMO. but yeah the story lines are creepy...I bet in real life its even worse.Just sayin.lol

I am in such a good mood tonight I can hardly contain myself...actually I am just downright giddy.. this time in a week i will be putting up my Christmas lights! Have a great night everyone...I am trying to stay up as late as I can so I won't wake up so early but it's hard..
@Christmasstar- I thought it would be colder than that by now there....what about in jan..wouldnt 50F be warm? come on help me out here...when I lived in England I would wear a jacket year around almost..especially the first few years...but the temps were not extreme at all. We got some snow but mostly sleet and freezing rain..of course when I leave they got pummeled with feet of snow all winter!!

Well the Jury has stopped for the weekend in the MJ case....so that means it will probably come in monday when I am at work..oh well I am sitting here with egg nog and cinnimon and still full from lunch. I already have hallmark channel on.
On another note baby news: The baby is due in 9 weeks but brandi is only going to work up until thanksgiving break because she is having a bad time all the way around. She is bummed out about that but what can you do?? I am getting very excited but nervous too..we have the room ready and she is having a baby shower the weekend before thanksgiving. all the other English teachers are giving it for her so after that the babies room will be full to the brim. It's funny that we were discussing since I have insomnia I will be the one getting up everynight with the baby and that is exactly what will happen. Too bad I can't breast feed.....

Now THAT is a visual !! I am praying for Brandi, you and of course the (((baby))) xo

Good evening,

We are in full recovery mode at work, work was closed for 3 days with no power. I have thrown away so much food the last 3 days, including over 3,000lbs of turkeys. Deliveries returned yesterday we have tried getting caught up for the weekend. The last week has been hell with the power outage, and the "cancelling of Halloween." The boys were so disappointed that the town cancelled trick or treating, but there was/is so many trees and wires down throughout the town that is all they could do. We took them to the Holyoke Mall for trick or treating but everyone in the area had the same idea, you couldn't move in that place. We lost some food, but we used snow to save the rest of it, considering we lost ALL of our food back in June after the tornado, we could not afford to lose everything now. The nights were chilly/freezing, did not sleep well trying to be sure the boys were warm, we ended up sleeping with one or the other every night to keep them warm. I finally got a shower last night, you probably could've smelled me from wherever you are until then. cheesy We only got about 8-9 inches of snow but the trees were destroyed all over the place. The things are getting back to normal around here, Christmas commercials are coming fast and furious now, Music Choice is playing the best music of all. Day off after tomorrow, I can't wait.

The six-packs of glass bottles with Santa on them are out too! We got some last night.

Coca-Cola is doing a promotion where they're donating money to the World Wildlife Federation to save the habitat of the polar bears. Part of the promotion is changing their red Coke cans to white and adding a polar bear design. Of course, Coke got the idea for polar bears and supporting wildlife from Polar Beverages here in Mass.! (And Polar was using polar bears in its advertising long before Coke started putting them in their Christmas commercials.)

I love Polar's Orange Dry soda, it is one of their best

What a day! I just went out to my car and someone broke into it and slide the electric seat all the way up to the underneath the steering wheel and ripped out and controls so I can't even get into it because I am so tall. I don't even think brandi could get into it and she's 4 '11!! because its all the way up to the controls! guess I have to call the cops!

That's horrible!
