Christmas Countdown - 2011

Dawg-I have been thinking of you all day, I hope all is well buddy.

I keep hoping to see an update from him everytime I log on. I've been praying for him all day.

Isn't it nice to have the laptop, read the boards, and watch TV....I love it!

So, who all is going to be here with us to ring in the season on Saturday night? Just be warned, it is one of the best nights of the year on the board....make plans to be here....I'm thinking I will roll in around 8 or 9 and visit throughout the night....be here non-stop from 10-11 (which will be when the season kicks in the Eastern Time Zone).....

I agree about the laptop Coach. I hate having to sit in the corner of my bedroom while working on the desktop.


My niece's birthday party is saturday night but I should be home by 9. So I should be on from about 10.

Both kids are bathed and ready for bed - DS is napping in his swing and EA is watching Dora and eating her snack. DH is working on an application so her take a test on Thursday for becoming a fire instructor. It's his last leg in doing so, if he passes the test, which I have no doubt he will, he will be able to teach other firefighters. Say a quick prayer that he will do well! It's nice and easy 2nd job. Nice, extra money too!

My prayers are on the way.

Been a long day here, Toronto and back, 20 centerpieces made for the seniors luncheon, 42 fliers printed for coffee time at the Bard, TOPS meeting done (lost 3lbs this week!)
now I a watching Dancing with the Stars and catching up here.

I am going to be here at least for part of the evening. Hubby and I have a dinner to go to for the opening of pheasant season. The special posts are so exciting. It really signals the opening of the season, and dances us into the countdown big time!

LC has an ear infection, so he was quite grumpy tonight. I may run to Kmart tomorrow to buy some extra C7 light bulbs and start decorating for Christmas. Rite Aid has almost all their decorations up, and they have some great stocking stuffers out. Ahhh, a day off tomorrow.

Last night around 8 (yup, when I was trying to watch DWTS) I got soo sick from a "girl thing" and ended up missing a good hour of the show. Anyway, I'm still feeling yucky and this morning (after the traffic has calmed down) I'm going to go to the supermarket and get more stuff that should help me out with this episode.

It's times like this that I really don't like being a girl. :-(

I forgot to tell you, Christmas family, it looks like I will be adopting another furkid !!! Her name is Lola and she is supposed to be brought to me this Saturday ! I am kind of nervous - never had one this little before but I will do my very best to make sure she has all she needs and to try and be a good "mommy" so wish me luck !!. Here is Lola's picture.
