We were out shopping for a few things, so I stopped by Michael's. They were having a sale on pre-lighted trees and decorations, but none of them were lit ... so I flipped on all the power strips. Got a little four-footer for the TV room. Such cheery cashiers. I asked how long the sale would be going on for the pre-lit trees. "Uh ... until Saturday. But they'll probably keep selling 'em for that price 'cause they wanta get rid of 'em."

Got a couple more gifts, some new gloves, and some badly neded socks.

Can you post the 4 dresses pictures?!?!

I can't post the pictures until I get a platinum account again, which might be a while because I have to pay on my school loans and such. If I can upload them to photobucket or snapfish in the next few days, I'll post links to them.

It didn't post the rest of your reply...lemme see if I can go back and fix that! lol

That is such a cute idea! Unfortunately we don't have room for all of that right now, but maybe someday! I'm glad you've found a great compromise!

I am sure you will look amazing in whatever dress you choose...

It was great to hear from you, :)

Thank you
!! I"m hoping I will look okay. Who knows!

Good evening,

Guess what?

I saw my first Christmas tree tonight! Lit up beautifully in the window of someones house. I saw another house with all their window candles all lit up.

My turkey delivery never came in before I left tonight, 2 weeks from tomorrow is turkey day, and my largest delivery isn't here yet. I actually have 1.5 weeks left to sell them, people stop buying the frozen ones the Sunday or Monday before Thanksgiving in order to thaw them.

Pines wasn't as crazy as it was 2 weeks ago, just sat there had my twinkie and left, I did hear something about a twinkie through a wreath toss for prizes coming soon though. cheesy

I must say good night now, back to work early.

Have a great night!

So I just popped in. New blue ray, Blizzard, never saw this one. We had our !St dress rehearsal tonight, I would LOVE to say it went off without a hitch, but alas this is real life and not Hollywood. Everyone was way excited, we have some adjusting to do, and my props took a little bit of a beating, we will start repairs this Saturday - overall we had a blast. Everyone in good spirits I had a wonderful time. Everything is moving so fast, I cannot believe the season is upon us. I will try and have my post up early, but it might be a little hard, I may have to do it latter in the morning

Wow, Hallmark really wore me out tonight! Or maybe it was my pre-work visit to the Pines! lol We had a lot of merchandise to price and I also had to close, and while we weren't busy, we were steady enough that we couldn't consistently work on everything at one time. On a good note, we got a TON of Penn State Blossom Bucket items...some I'm even considering using for wedding table centerpieces!!! I have never seen so much PSU merch in our store before, so I'm ecstatic!!!

Gotta try to go to bed now...this is early for me! But I have another 5am day tomorrow (had one today), plus my boss is back and our district auditor will be in which is always stressful for everyone...so I have a feeling I will need my rest! Hope you all have a great night! <3

Brilliance
As we enter into the darkest months, there shines bright a community here. Community: the gathering of souls who believe in a common cause and celebrate it routinely. However, our little community is hardly routine. We hail from global corners. We have never spoken nor seen each other in person. We are as diverse as the universe, yet we speak a common language. We love a period of the year where the world stops for one moment and celebrates as one. Truly, there are those wonderful stories of the holidays- where strangers reach out and celebrate with charity that all too often is lacking the rest of the year. Look at the dysfunction that exists in our world and the pending darkness. Yet, all year long, here, our community is brilliant in love, and support, and friendship, and charity. In my darkest of days, I remembered: there is something bigger than this despair. It is friendship and love and the commonality of something that we celebrate, even if the rest of the world, only catches on for a few brief weeks. And it is fitting, that ever so close to Christmas, after the 21st of December and the longest night of the year, the world again joins us and goes into the light.
And so it has come to this, four days until the season

Friend, you have a way with words. I look forward to Crown's and your special posts all year. That post touched me....down deep where Darlene lives. Thank you.....for friendship....operas....laughs...and the grass skirt I'm dancing in at the Pines tonight....for the coffee (and a lot of it).....and for the mystery. Great job.

Wow. The wind is so strong here this afternoon that it sounds like my roof is going to blow off. I better head to the Pines soon or I may not make it.

See you there, my friend!

After Saturday night at my house, you will see your 2nd! Can't wait.

Dawg....still thinking of you.

Can't wait for Saturday night. Everyone make plans to be here at midnight to ring in the season with us in realtime! One of the best moments of the year!

Wow! It is really windy out all of a sudden. Earlier today I was outside and didn't need a coat and now I need more than a light jacket. The forecast for tomorrow is snow showers - finally! - so I made a big pot of cheezy potato soup. The kitchen smells good!

very windy here as well, no snow in forcast yet unfortunatly

Just wanted to tell you, that I bought my first own christmas decorations and put them up yesterday.

Which is very early were I live. But I just fell in love with those and had to have them!

No news from the weather front here, it is still very foggy but the temperatures are still very mild.

On tuesday I had a meeting in my church, because I am part of the sunschool teachers and we are planning on a christmas theater for the kids on the fourth advent. Which means I have to learn text because I will play the Maria! It is so exciting but I will be soooooo nervious!

Hubby, my MIL, and I are sitting here watching the CMA's. I should be taking a nap, but I love the CMA's and can't seem to fall asleep. Maybe I will attempt it here again in 15 or 20 minutes. DH isn't really feeling any better. He ate some soup for dinner and he said that was a huge mistake. I hope he feels better soon - he has that test in the am for his fire instructor!

Hoping he returns to his oldself soon and all is well with you to

Our present Mayor will keep the office until the end of the year. I'll be sworn in one day in the first week of January. Surreal.

OMG java mocha pineapple swiss cheese hangover...

OMG The Pines out of control...

Q; Why did Cainemom start that Conga line?
Q: How knew Jayish knew all those lyrics to Donna Summer songs?
Q: Why did Made start that food fight with the fired twinkies?
Q: Why did Crown climb that tree and announce they were the new Tarzan/Jane?

YABBA!
