Good morning! talk about exhausted! I am...I put all my mom's Christmas stuff up so it would cheer her up..meanwhile this afternoon I am going back to the hospital to see how my dad is. MY sister is coming tomorrow from Texas and I will head back home to Georgia because I have to get back to work. I have used all my time up for now. Thanksgiving plans have changed for me I will fly back out west I think brandi will go with me instead of her folks in Boston...but either way the Dr preferred her not to travel this close to the due date...I have so much to catch up on here!! Miss one day around here and you are lost!!! have a good friday everyone!

I am so sorry for your disappointment. I think you are right about delaying accepting her at Christmas. No one should be so wishy washy with other people's feelings.

Just a brief post today. I am really, really sad. Monica, the lady who has Lola, called a few moments ago and called it all off so I am not going to be able to adopt her. She said her husband's asthma had not bothered him for a few days and they decided to keep her.

I want the puppy to be where she will be loved and cared for and I would have done that. She said something about maybe she could call in a month if it doesn't work but I kind of shyed away from that. It will be nearly Christmas by then and I don't want to be heartbroken on Christmas.

Thank you for all your well wishes about Lola. I guess I should not have said anything about her until I actually had her. I was sure I would be adopting her........

Sorry Cm3! I actually would be miffed if I were you..talk about stringing someone along..I don't blame you at all for shying away from taking her MAYBE in a month...She should not be doing that to you and I would tell her!!!

CM3.. Ugh that just plain stinks... I wish I could say something to make it better, but I don't, just know I am here for you and understand your heart break. But, on the flip side... remember how you told us she had a son who was heartbroken at the thought of losing Lola, well maybe thinking of him being over-joyed that his parents said he could keep Lola, maybe that will lessen your hurt?!?!

Happy Friday and Happy Veterans Day! Just got home from my daughter's school. They had a Veteran's Day concert and she sings in the choir. It was great! I hope everyone has a nice day and a great weekend!

Just wanted to mention that my mom has traditional Holiday music channel on her tv..they play all the old Christmas songs..I have been listening all night and morning to it,it sure does soothe the nerves!

That is so unfair you were so looking forward to getting her.. but theres a saying over here. " if its not for you it will go by you " truthfully i think its the dogs lost.. and to say that maybe in a month am sorry but people cant treat you like that. it not fair on you. you were all excited about it even worrying wood it be ok with you.
I am sorry you did not get it. you wood have been everything it needed and more but maybe just think of what you have, things and people that will not let you down

what a day.. my head is going with these christmas trees
I bough in about 8 yesterday and 6 was sold then 2 of the people that got ones yesterday seen the different ones today and had to get then changed . that i could handle
Then a lady bought a fibre optic tree with led lamps on the end. there is a seperate lead for then that plug into the top of the base. away she went with tree. when she got home. she pluged the adaptor which goes into the side of the base in the place where the lead goes for the led,s and blow the led lights up.
In she came with the tree and said it was not working , as she is a good customer so i give her the money back. probably should not have but what odds.
But then she saw a black fibre optic with white flashing led lights and just wanted it there and then and when i said that someone had left a deposit on it and the girl had not a chance to get it put away. she did not take it to well and left.. so i cant won can i

It is so good to see you post (((((((((((HUG))))))))))))) and I "meet" up every morning at Starbucks with a Vet (he has it on his car a sticker) and so this morning I treated him to a "Thank you" coffee - I have to say it made me feel good, I know it is only a coffee... That was super sweet of you to do that for your mom. I will light a candle tonight and say a special prayer for you & your family.

IIRC, this is the second time your neighbor has backed off from allowing you to adopt Lola ... she should have some consideration for what she's putting you through. I guess the only thing you can do is to pray that Lola will get whichever home she is meant to have.

I wrote this poem before the first season post was made. Those before me wrote so eloquently and I was following up with a lighthearted, silly poem. I felt a little nervous about that.

WAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! I FINALLY finished the song downloads I need for the CDs all be burning.

Now all I need to do is install the CD label maker (I bought one on Sunday and it was cheap--$14.29), write up Mom's and Dad's letters (the letters is probably harder), print out everyone's letters (I bought Christmas letterhead) and.....I'm DONE!!!!!!!!!!!


Just to scare Mom, I'm going to put her CD and letter in a Victoria's Secret bag haha! cheesy
