Hi everyone!!! Been super busy, like who isn't right!?!?! I am training a new Asst here at work, she is SOOO young it is too cute, she is only 22!!!! WOW!!! But, she is smart and level headed so I am pleased.

Been doing a lot of preparing for Thanksgiving. We also did a Thanksgiving celebration at the youth group on Saturday, we had such a good time. I was so pleased with the turn out. Also, a lot of them participated in the prep, a few mentioned how it was the first time they ever did anything like this, it made my heart ache to know that. Maybe me realize how important it is to truly give Thanks for everything in my life. Okay enough of the sappy stuff!!!

Napkins pressed - check, table cloth pressed - check - Turkey in the fridge - check - cranberry sauce thickened in the fridge - check!!! Pie crust done - yup I am on track!!!!

Hope everyone is doing well, hugs to you all... And to the special furbabies may they dream of turkey and goodies as well!!!
 
Does anyone want to come peel some hard boiled eggs for me?

Still in Denver still sick actually worse than yesterday...the plane this morning was booked I was on standby did not make it so now I am waiting for a later one. I talked with brandi and luckily she made it to Wellesley,Mass without a hitch! I am glad one of us had good luck..I think it may even snow in Mass while she is there..It is snowing at my folks house too If I can just get there!! I hope everyone is having a good day! Just 2 days till turkey day,I hope I have an appetite by then.

on a more serious note...Please pray for my grandfather Otto....he had to have a minor surgery on his foot...actually both feet...now the doctor was puzzled because during the surgery there was hardly any blood coming.....seems that gramp s veines are so stuff that the feet hardly get any blood...there are ways to fix it...but with gramps health and everything things dont look too good....first he is too old and second it could be the venes are so stuffed that there is hardly any way to get through them....so in the end....and this is what I would like You guys to pray for him.....he might end up losing both of his feet....and that would kill his heart. Please pray for my grandfather so there is a way to fix this...even tho he is 82 and I knew every day something could happen...this is just the circle of life...the thought of him having to leave us is breaking me totally...so please pray for him

All the best to your grandfather, Track! My grandmother had major surgery and was on the verge of death at the age of 85, but she toughed it out. She's still going strong at the age of 97! Good luck to your grandfather, hoping for nothing but the best towards his health!

My brother said the salute should be a mandatory celebration for Ference each time he scores in the Bell Centre. I whole-heartedly agree. I am a fan of Crosby, too. He is a great role model for youngster. I met him when he was 16, and he was nothing but a class act - even at such a young age!

A rumble in Buffalo could definitely ensue, but I don't predict a whole lot. The Sabres had nobody to stand up for Miller when he collided with Loochm and they sure as don't now. In fact, I would take any member of the Bruins (including Krecji, Seidenberg, Bergeron) over any Sabres player with their gloves off. Only Seguin and Kelly may have to pick their spots, otherwise, they all have nothing worry about. We know that they only way they will go after Lucic is with a cheapshot.

They will definitely keep him. He still has a few years left in his tank. They will probably just ease him in similar to Aaron Rodgers taking over for Brett Favre in Green Bay.

I am also a fellow leftie - kind of. I write with my left hand. Most other things I do with my right. More or less, I have a power hand (right) and control hand (left). I guess I am ambidexterous!

I agree. It would be stupid to get rid of Manning. Luck is going to need some time to learn the system and Manning is the perfect one to teach it to him. Manning is basically the offensive coordinator anyways.
 
Hey Christmas family !

Just stopping in really quick........DJ (my stepson) got his results back from his PET/CT scan........He is FINE. The exam was completely normal. One more thing to be so grateful for !! I am SO HAPPY..........And so thankful
