I am feeling a little rushed on here today and haven't had time to look everything over.

We went running around yesterday and got home around 3 pm. I felt so tired that I took a shower and collapsed in bed to watch tv until I went to sleep for the night. I didn't even turn on my computer. I just didn't feel well. My weekends are so busy but always good and have another busy day today.

I hope to find some time this evening to check in.

Today, we start our 3rd week of Christmas Season 2011.
We have moved so far!

And just look at this:

We are down to just THREE WEEKS!

Still chilly, where we started the morning at 36 degrees and have only climbed to 40 so far.
But it's beautifully calm and sunny.
The better to see Christmas decorations with, my dears. And there are SO MANY of them, now!

Hi every one!
Sorry for not keeping you guys posted on my brother! It was not okay at all, but he is getting better. I rushed to the other side of the country, to my parents house, after class the next day. My brother looked so tiny on the children's department of the hospital. I hope he will be able to go home soon. We will celebrate Saint Nicholas next week, i will celebrate it with my boyfriend tomorrow!

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!!! It's another rainy here in central Indy. I'm tired of the rain. I need a couple of Christmasstar's big fans so I can blow it all down to Dawg. I'm getting ready to head to church and then I'm going to go have lunch with a friend who is in town from Iowa. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

Good morning, everyone!

I am awake a little earlier than I had expected. But, I have a few things to do before football starts at 1 PM, so I figured I could make a very brief visit. There is till a little snow on the ground, but it will be melted as of sometime today. The forecast isn't pretty. 8c with rain! Following tomorrow (5c), however, the forecast calls for highs of one degree above freezing. The best part - the forecast seems to be right around the freezing mark for the long range!

Today marks exactly two weeks until I return home for Christmas. Yep, I will be flying back to Sault Ste. Marie for the first time. We'll see how nervous I am when it all comes about! OK. I have to walk to the grocery store and then go to the gym for a quick workout...

Well, hello from New-Laptop-Land! At last I have a keyboard that works, and a touchpad that isn't possessed.

The chorus that I play piano for had their first Christmas concert today, and it was at one of the local nursing homes. We sang for about 40 minutes, which is usually all the longer we can keep attention at these facilities, and when we were done the residents wanted "MORE"! One little old gentleman came up and tugged on the back of my blouse while I was picking up my music, and told me how much he enjoyed the concert. However, he was disappointed that we had not sung his favorite carol. I asked him what it was, and he replied "O Holy Night". Well, being an organist, I could probably play "O Holy Night" in my sleep, so I sat back down and started to play it. The really nice thing was that the chorus members were still standing around, and they evidently heard this man talking to me, because they all started singing it. So we had an impromptu encore, and the little old gentleman went away very happy that his request had been honored. Now see, that's why I like playing the nursing homes and assisted living facilities better than the 'regular' concerts. They are so rewarding. These people expect so little, and it is so wonderful to be able to do something for them, even if it's just singing their favorite Christmas Carol. It made my day. Heck, it will probably make my whole week!

That was nice, you gave that gentleman an early and I am sure very appreciated Christmas gift.

Binger, Made....doesn't it sound wonderful to hear that Darlene Love is just under three weeks away. I hope you all make plans to join us for the David Letterman show on Dec. 23rd when she sings that beautiful song. I cannot wait!

Today.....online shopping, a little school work, and Christmas card wrap up! Tomorrow, I will put those babies in the mail. It's going to be hit or miss for me this week...we have a a total of 14 basketball games over the next five days, so there is going to be some duty involved. But rest assured, I will be around. Now that tappatalk let's you post, I will be able to post a little, but still not the same as doing it here...

Sitting under the glow of my tree, we will not be going to NYC next Sunday, with the power outage last month we had to spend our trip money on food, soo NYC at Christmastime is put off until a year or 2 from now. We are doing our Christmas shopping on Tuesday, we cannot wait.

Sadly, at my age there are a few coaches from other clubs that try and poach players. My friend, who is also a forward has been asked to join a club called Wakehurst. I have been asked to for my former club Curl Curl and another club called Brookvale. I made the transition to my current club three years ago and I have made it my home, so I am sticking to my club. Morning!

I'm sitting here on the horns of a dilemma - and it's not comfortable, let me tell you!!!!

I don't know whether to hug or beat my other half senseless. I came home from work yesterday to discover my living room FULL of wood, drywall, filling compound...you get the picture........

He's decided to make a kind of faux fireplace as a focal point with the TV (it's one of those hang on the wall jobs). You cannot move with all this.....STUFF!!!!!!! He's taken down all the shelving so books and ornaments etc are on the couches covered with a blanket, so the floor is the only place really to sit although that's covered with stuff as well; he's pulled down the wallpaper on that wall (but not entirely, just has to finish the bits he missed)

Did he miss the fact that I'm on a Christmas site at some point during the day 365 days a year? We have Christmas cards arriving daily???? I'm actually SHARING my chocolate advent calendar with him??!!!!!!!!! HeLLO????!!!!!!!!

It rained all night and the snow is now gone - I'm actually glad as it was very icy out. Love snow, not so much the ice, though.

hey ya'll. oh how i've missed ya'll!
well our Christmas open house is done & it was a huge success. never have we had such a great turnout & sales. yyaaaay!
i'm gonna try to catch up on here but.....not sure if i can, there's so many.
i'm in full Christmas mode now, ready to shop & bake. i love doing those things. i really want to fit in some outings for my family this year. we all go in so many directions & hardly find time to do much together but i'm gonna try to find something for us to do.
ya' know my kids aren't little anymore so i have to find something to interest them too.
i hope everyone is well, safe, happy, & rested.
