Christmas Countdown - 2011

Good morning! I heard there's going to be a party going on around here! FUN!!! :grin:

It has been such a fun weekend. I went Christmas shopping with my friend Friday then met up with the hubby's back at her house for drinks & snacks. Yesterday one of my best friends & her daughters came over & baked & baked & baked & iced & iced cut out Christmas cookies. I also tried a new recipe (Rachael Ray) for chocolate surprise cookies (they have a peppermint patty in the middle - surrounded in choc cookie dough) Delish!! I just pulled the last batch out of the oven. I am having a coffee & watching Christmas In Connecticut (On TCM) & in 1 1/2 hours I'm heading to my Moms for Candy Day with my sisters & sil! Their house will smell like a chocolate factory! Mmmmm - can't wait! It was also my Dads 84th birthday on Friday so our hubby's will come over later we are celebrating his birthday with a pizza party & of course...candy! Then us girls are planning to go for a walk & look at Christmas lights around town! I better go & get my stuff together!!

Make it a great day! I'm hoping to join the party at some point - probably later tonight!

Good Morning Christmas friends! today the weather is perfect. 45F and cloudy...not raining but just cloudy and I love it! tomorrow calls for rain and still cool weather. it clears up tuesday and warms up a little. still chilly at night and warm during the day.. I will enjoy this perfect cloudy cool weather while I can! Weather like this always reminds me of the Christmases when I was little,it was always cold and cloudy back then. I remember when it use to snow every winter in atlanta back in the 80's, not alot but still for the south it was a big deal.lol I was listening to the xmas tunes on the radio this morning in the car when I was going to the grocery store and I could have ridden around forever thinking about past christmases.ugh well it's time to start cooking lunch! anyone want to help me out???

house smells good...fresh bread about to come out of bread machine, cinnamon rolls just out of the oven, sausages and hashbrowns cooking...what else do I have to do before everyone gets here? Eggs can wait till last, tea water is on to boil...if you like coffee I will get my son to make it for you.

Sounds delicious! I know it's kind of late in the morning, but if you have any late, I will be over!

I feel kind of bummed out that now the big party is here that I am going to miss most of it. Still feeling kind of yucky from being sick but will go on into work today and might try to get to church this morning, if I can get myself together. Depending on how I feel at the end of the day I will do my best to get on here and join the rest of the party!!!

Try not t overdue it today. Keep trying to rest when you can. Hope you feel better soon.

Me too. Live365 limits how many "free" users can listen to there station at once. So the station is probably at it's limit.

He isn't living anymore now, but Jeff was chatting with us on the chat and told me to go to MCR2, so it sounds like it must be the same there too. If you're able to get onto MCR2, get on there at 5, where he will be live there at 5 as well!

The Top 100 stuff is pre-recorded, but Jay was broadcasting live for about an hour and a half, and he'll be on live again later. People can phone in and talk to him live. Give a call!
