Excitement on both parts. Although the thread seems a little quiet this morning...

Just dropping in here in the countdown for a minute to say goodnight (Monday is lurking around the corner...) and that I had a blast today hanging out in the chat at the World's Largest Christmas Party and sharing the joy of the season with the coolest and merriest people on Earth!

Have A Great Monday, Christmas family xo

Good morning everyone. We still don't have much snow. (Are we going to have a brown Christmas????) Very unusual for our neck of the woods. It's happened twice, though, in the 33 years I've lived here.
I'm decorating my house tonight in spite of my grinch husband. Maybe it wil help his Christmas spirit to grow ever so slightly. (Keep your fingers crossed.)
Good morning, everyone!
I don't have much time to read all the previous posts. It was a somewhat busy day yesterday. I had the gym, Packers game, a few other things and it was all wrapped up with a gathering for some ice cream cake and a Christmas movie! I had a blast!
Wasn't that quite a game?! 13-0 is unbvelievable! Go Packers!!!
Hope Jennings will be ok. Last I heard they're calling it a knee sprain. My husband, the Bears fan, is disappointed too, he has him on his fantasy league.
Anyway, I was happy to see the Packers extend their record to 13-0 yesterday. They looked good at the beginning and then seemed to drop off. Hopefully Greg Jennings is OK. That would be a big loss for the Packers.
It's my final work week before I begin my Christmas Holidays! Less than a week now until I fly home to Sault Ste. Marie to spend nearly two weeks with my family. To say that I am excited would be quite the understatement.
Have a great Christmas with your family!
I hope that everyone is having a great day so far... Oh, and I hope the weekend was fantastic, too!! It's a new week. This will bring us a week closer to Christmas! Enjoy your Monday, everyone!!
Although I am off work until jan 2nd I was asked to work today for a friend. I only lasted half a shift and had to go home..major stomach virus...so I am about to go to bed and see how this afternoon goes.! i Hope everyone has a great afternoon!!

Sorry I couldn't stay around for your chat, CM. I'm not the night-owl I used to be. :mrgreen:Good afternoon, Christmas family
Getting ready to get started for another day at work. A BIG thank you to all those who came to my Christmas With Pets Chat. I think it got boring mostly because I really don't know anything about pets and should have researced different topics for the chat. You were all wonderful, thank you for sticking around xo
One of my favorite shows.
Joel was my favorite, but Nelson was okay. And the robots!
Double Chocolate Cookies With A Peppermint Patty Surprise

If you didn't find it - there you go!
2 things - I would refrigerate the dough overnight (not just 1 hour) & it's still pretty sticky. I also only baked the 2nd batch for 11 minutes -15 minutes (in my oven) & the peppermint patty was running out, all over! They are tasty though!
...And a pint of Denaka vodka.
(Isn't that in the Twelve Days of Christmas?)
Holy crow!
I just noticed I passed 30,000 posts at some point!
Good Evening Friends...
Sitting here listening to Sirius Radio. They are playing some wonderful Christmas music tonight. Had a pretty productive day for the most part. I wanted to go to storage to pull out my blow molds but never got around to it. A couple nights ago d/d and I went driving around town to look at Christmas lights. I sure wish more people would decorate. While out and about we stopped in at the convenience store for a drink and came across the cutest Christmas mug for Santa this year. It has a little slot in the bottom for a cookie..super cute! Hope everyone is doing well? Life's good here! =)

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!
I worked ALL weekend, but it's behind me now. My company Christmas party is tonight, and the kids have mid-terms starting tomorrow, so my wife can't come with me. Oh, well. For some reason, we are going to a place that has bowling, laser tag, video games...I can't fathom why...but I guess she won't miss anything.
I have some work to do. I hope ya'll have a great day! cheesy

Kind of reminded me of the premise for The Holiday, which is one of my absolute favorites!
Hello, everyone! I had today off from work, but instead of relaxing, spent all my time working on a special project. No more days off left this year, so I don't have a day left to kick back and drink eggnog and watch movies ... boo! Maybe I can carve out a little time this weekend.
And I got some sad news today about a friend I worked with nearly 20 years ago, but we kept in touch after I moved to Massachusetts. She's in hospice, and the prognosis is about six weeks. Her son said it was very sudden; she took ill about a week ago. It's too late today to call her, but I will try this week.
I hope everyone who's under the weather is feeling well soon, and that everyone is recovered after the big online party yesterday!
