Crown: As Christmasstar said, thank you for being the head cheerer on this count! It was great you popped in last night, too!

Long morning ahead of me - I will be glad when the afternoon gets here. I want to relax and enjoy the day, bake some cookies, listen to music, watch my favorite movies or read A Christmas Carol. I'm not sure if I can do it all in one afternoon, but I am going to try. Oh, yeah, I have to wrap presents yet, too :grin:

In case I can't get on here tonight, a very MERRY CHRISTMAS to you and yours!

Keep trying...I've got a hack enabled that gives folks priority for being members...you should be able to get on late this afternoon just fine. Traffic will peak around Noon EST USA today before it falls off....

Merry Christmas Eve morning, dear Christmas family !!!!!

Getting ready to go in and start wrapping presents. What is it about this day that puts excitement in the air ?? I don't know but I am glad to be here and so happy that it is Christmas Eve.

It has been such a year of ups and downs for all of us I think and for my part, I want to thank all of you for always picking me up when I "fell" this year. I have one small request, if I may. My Clancy was really sick this morning so could you all please say a prayer for her ?? I hope it is not anything serious but I don't know. She slept with me on the couch for a few hours and now she seems to be fine again. She is only 6 years old but we have had really bad luck with our Ridgebacks when they get to be this age for some reason.

Well, I am off to wrap presents and try to absorb as much of this wonderful day as I can. Later I am going to Mass with my dearest friend and then up to my Sister's house xo

The boys are very excited right now, I am very uncomfortable, and sore, I was trying to surprise my wife by helping clean up a little while she is out grocery shopping, I think I overdid it though, as the pain is worse than before. We have 27 people coming over tonight, so much to do and prep, I just want to help out. If I can't get back on today I just want to say Merry Christmas!

Morning everyone! I did get some sleep - about an hour once DH got home. Thanks to a wonderful husband! I gotta love him for all he does for me and our family!

I hope you're all having a wonderful Christmas Eve. I've gotta do some picking up around the house, then I will be back in a little bit. EA, DH, and I are then going to write a letter for Santa before he heads to work and I take the kids to church with my family - he has to miss out the this year since he will be at work.

Good morning, everyone! I am so excited that the day is finally here. I am going to have breakfast and then start to get ready for company to come over! The Steelers play at 1 PM, which is sort of an inconvenience if you ask me. I'd rather have Christmas Eve without football, even though I usually love it. My dad is going to run and pick us up some catered chicken, salad, and this really yummy sandwich from a local deli. Then my mom and I made a bunch of food yesterday. I will be very excited to exchange gifts with my brother today and also to give my grandpa his presents.

Merry Christmas Eve!!! I'll be tracking Santa all day, of course!

I hope you all have a wonderful day! I am hoping it goes well here, especially for my mom. She pulled her back out twice since August and said that she has been sore the past couple of days and feeling strange in her back, so my fingers are crossed that nothing happens.

But if ever their was a team effort this is it!!
Each and every one of you, one by one, have contributed the bricks that have built this thread mansion!

I'll be in and out, enjoying a respite from countdowing but certainly plan to be here on the evening of the 31'st to preside over the shutdown of this thread and the launch of "Christmas Countdown - 2012"

I also want to thank everyone who supported the Blossoms thread this year.
There were more photos posted this year than ever before!

And a special note. Unlike the Countdown tread, the Blossoms thread is not locked. You can continue to contribute photos from Christmas season 2011 at any time.
