Christmas Countdown - 2011

I have not been feeling well since yesterday afternoon...which is why I had to bow out of that special moment waiting of Love to appear.:-(
Woke this morning with a headache. Tried to ignore it all day, because as we all know the world screeches to a halt if mom is not making things happen!
My darling son finally sent me off to have a soak in the tub because that makes everyone else feel better so should work for moms too. I do feel better, but this gosh darn headache just seems to really like my head today. Took something for that again, hoping it will now leave please.
Being here makes me feel better, so I will go on pretending I am just fine thank you and help with the count!

I am right there with you! I've been sick all day. I am missing my in-laws Christmas, but there was no way I could make it. I hope this is just a 24 hour thing and tomorrow I will be all well. I hope you feel better soon. And yes, when Mom is sick, nothing gets done. LOL

Happy Christmas Eve morning,

The boys are very excited right now, I am very uncomfortable, and sore, I was trying to surprise my wife by helping clean up a little while she is out grocery shopping, I think I overdid it though, as the pain is worse than before. We have 27 people coming over tonight, so much to do and prep, I just want to help out. If I can't get back on today I just want to say Merry Christmas!

Santa Claus and the Christkind have visited our house....we had dinner and cleaned up the kitchen when we heard a bell ring...of course Kandice paced to the living room....and there were the presents.....whoooooooooooooooooah.....she came running to me huggin me and saying thankn you that the christkind came....then we sang Kling Gloeckchen and halfway through the song I started giving out the presents, because she was just so hyped....lol.....then we spend more than one hour to put together all of her new playmobil toys...she has a blast and is very proud

tomorrow at 10 we will leave to visit with my brother and his family and eat a big christmas lunch there and spend quality time with the family

You know what I like to do? I like to reread the posts from the beginning of the year and see how far we have come. This year, though, that might be difficult!!!

I meant to tell you that you can relive the posts by just going to the "biggies." You know, beginning of the year, Christmas in July, Halloween, Canadian Thanksgiving, U.S. Thanksgiving, and from there the rest of the year!!!

what ever way you do it, it is always fun to go back over the posts and relive the year!

Good Merry Christmas Eve afternoon!

I just got back from the vets a bit ago and Mouse is doing well. She received two more injections and has to go back on Monday, but she is home and has a 48 hour + respite from the trauma a vet's visit gives her. She is currently hiding under the bedside table, by the heat register. I hope she forgives me soon! Her present came in the mail today and I cannot wait to give it to her - it is a self-heating cat mat, in blue and blue leopard print. It is really soft and fuzzy, so I know she will like that part of it, and if it works the way the ad said, she will love her gift!

Hello again, dear Christmas family !!

Just stopping in briefly. Clancy is feeling MUCH better. My husband was so worried about her that he called from work. I told him I might have to get her to a doctor at first this morning when she was sick and I think he was not only worried about her,but worried about me since I don't drive much and he knows traffic scares me.

As it turns out, we rested a couple of hours on the couch this morning and now she is fine. She has had her supper already and she wolfed it down like always. The thing that was frightening me so this morning is that she acted like she wanted to eat but couldn't.

Thank God, for now she is alright and I plan on getting her to her doctor as soon after the New Year as possible. Thank you, thank you all for your prayers xo

glad to hear he is feeling better, hopefully by the time the vets opens again you will not need his services!

Happy Christmas Eve, everyone! I was over at my Mom's this morning, and we had fun looking for a few more spots on the tree to put the last few Christmas balls on. It's like a game with us, to get them all on. It's like the calm before the storm right now-in about an hour it will be time to start getting ready for an early dinner and then Church. I hope everyone has a great Christmas Eve!
