Christmas Countdown - 2011

It's only a little after four in the afternoon here in northern California.
 
Hey everyone!!! What a lovely Christmas Eve so far. My grandpa just left and he really enjoyed himself. In all of the years since my grandma passed away, I never saw him so happy.

I am absolutely STUFFED and I don't think I'll be hungry again until supper time tomorrow! I just filled up the cookie platter so Santa will be getting some yummy treats tonight :)

i've had a great day so far! i'm off to midnight mass later and i'm really looking forward to it.

i can't believe it's here, it has come around quicker than ever this year. i'm planning on having a little time out later and reflecting on the year gone by, things that have happened, counting my blessings and thinking of how i'd like 2012 to be.

i've left santa his mince pie and glass of milk, we had no carrots so rudolph's got a banana (hope he likes them!) my daughter would NOT go to bed this evening, there were tears and tantrums (terrible 2's aarrgghhh!!) but she's finally asleep. i can't wait to see her face tomorrow morning.

Seawaters, since the rowdy Eastern Time Zoners are few and far between, I say we declare your time zone as the official arrival of Christmas as applies to the 30,000 posts by Christmas Day goal. What do you say?

We just had our big Christmas Eve dinner which was quite delicious. My little siblings got to open one present each so they're off playing with their new video games. Looks like we won't be having a white Christmas this year, though. :/

I will not be up to welcome it as it is 3 hours after ours, but that is OK with me.
