Good afternoon everyone! I has taken me two days to creep back into the interwebs...post Christmas blues

I know, I am terrible at waiting!
I was in the Shoals area in October---nice place! We stayed in Florence & took a drive over to the music museum.
I had to wake DH & DD up at 8:30 a.m. & they would have slept later if we didn't need DD to open her gifts & make breakfast before going to church.

had a christmas family gathering this afternoon, it was lovely. lots of party food and champagne :rudolph:
luckily, in my part of the world most keep christmas decorations up until atleast beginning of january and the tv stations still show christmas movies until end december so i'm still in full on christmas mode! although it hasn't stopped me thinking about next christmas! i should be moving into my lovely large new home in february so i am having everybody to me next christmas day, inface we were all discussing it earlier and everybody is saying they are really looking forward to it! it's never too early to plan the perfect christmas ; )

sounds wonderful! Glad to hear you had a great Christmas. Moving into a new house is always fun! Do you know where the Christmas tree will go?
I am having a great day! Spent most of it at home, getting a lot of little jobs done. It is snowing and everything is looking so pretty outside. Dinner (left over turkey casserole) is in the oven cooking. All my kids are home. Life is good.

On the Third Day of Christmas...

Had a great family day today, watching Christmas movies and playing with the Wii with everyone, and leftover turkey for dinner. Still no sign of the blues here, but I do get that feeling of dread that it is over once in a while. We will be going to get our family portrait done tomorrow. I am still feeling quite uncomfortable, slowly but surely getting better. I love Christmas, there truly is no better time of year.
